Remarks :
My experience with DIBNS was very good. I miss everything about dolphin. Once you go to dolphin it makes you a good person.
Entrance Preview :
DIBNS Dehradun is known for its best quality of education, excellent staff, and very helpful administration. I wanted to pursue Biotechnology from Uttarakhand institute of technology but one of my cousins told me that dolphin holds a very respectful position in Dehradun for its quality education.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very good. In B.sc there were 4 subjects in biotechnology which is then divided into 4 sub-subjects. So there were individual labs for those sub-subjects also. Same in other courses also. In M.sc there were 6 month project work.
Internships Opportunities :
Basically the college usually does not provide any internship. But if someone wants to do internship there is a pacement cell also which helps students in order to get internship in the industry as well as other areas.
Placement Experience :
Placement rate is good. So many companies comes to hire students like Sage publications, Innodata, IGL etc. Usually the package ranges about 1.5 lacs/annum initially. They provides placements in other states also. The placement cell is collaberated with so many reputated comoanies.
College Events :
DIBNS is full of life. In the month of feb DIBNS holds college fest week. In which there are so many events in which students takes part and get prize money also. DIBNS appreciates every type of talent whether it is dancing, singing, art, or sports.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As i written in my review that DIBNS does not discriminate between rich and poor. So i will say that fee structure is feasible. DIBNS also provide scholarship to meritorious students and needy students. They believes in giving everything to the needy students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Students can study from the loan also. They provides scholarships also, as i written before. Yearly scholarships are available, but in my view the fee structure of DIBNS is not so expensive so every one can afford the education.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good. Full of enjoyment. In DIBNS there are students from so many states ex:- AP, J&K, West Bengal, Haryana, Tamilnadu and North-east etc. In college fest there are so many competitions such as quiz, debates, GD, Poster presentation etc.
Hostel Facilities :
In DIBNS there are 3 girls hostels, 3 boys hostels. Each and every hostel is good, full of life or i will say the students enjoys the friendly environment of the hostel. Mess food is good but they do not provide non-veg food. But one can order it from the dhaba outside the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna :
If you have good relationship with your seniors they will try to help you in every way. Alumni network is very strong.
Exam Structure :
The teachers also helpful in every aspects, but when it comes to exams they are very strict. In every semester there are 3 internal exams and then external exams. They give you assignments time to time. They holds quizes frequently. There are seminars also.
Admission :
I directly got admission in this college because my marks were good, but the very good thing about DIBNS is that it does not discriminate between rich or poor, excellent student or average student. The aim of DIBNS is only to provide education in order to develop the society.
Faculty :
The faculty of our college is as good as our guardians. They always motivates,inspires us. Behavious of every teacher towards their students are very helpful. In a very friendly manner ther teaches us everything whether it is bookish knowledge or life lessions.
