Faculties are very good they always ready to help a student
The crowd you get in south campus is superb you learn alot from many people.
Canteen and food quality of college is superb it is so good.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old and it is not fit for person wit disability
Difference between what is taught in college and what you required for jobs
Placement are nearly zero no good college come here

Course Curriculum Overview

The syallabus of course bachelor of arts is related to the syallabus of upsc so this was main reason to take this course . But it doesn't prepare you for he real world applications, somewhat it can help in masters but it has very less relevance. The course should be changed and it should be made fit for real world applications and further academic pursuits The frequency of exams are very high and become of that students feel stressed.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Rs. 11795.00 , this is amount of total fees paid in the second year for the university for BA program course. Tuition fees-11000 Registration fees- 1500 Lab fees - Nil for Arts students Fees is same for students of all category. Scholarship is provided to students like NSP,PMSSS and various other scholarship provided in du . State wise scholarship is also provided by their respective State for the students studying in delhi university. Exam fees-1500 for one semester Very affordable.

Campus Life

There is annual college fest for motilal nehru and this time they invite renuka pariwar to perform. The library is the largest Libra in DU. Sports ground are also best and good There are many clubs in the college which is so good

Admission

I apply for both campus college and in south h campus this was first college so I got this college I choice this college is because Infrastructure is good Nearest to my house Good ranking Good feedback Yes I applied for many colleges but because of my score was not that good so I get low college.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1:50 and teachers are very good , you can approch them they are always there for you . All the faculties are good there is no particular name to be taken In 1 year around 2 semester exams are taken and you have to give 14 exams in one year which becomes hectic for many people and become of that people are not able to learn .

Night Life

I didn't live in hostel as college provide no hostels but in night satya Niketan is favourite night bot spots and people enjoy alot there Lodi garden is also good for it and also you can go to various parks like buddha garden which is also good

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

It is one of the best college of Delhi university among 10 colleges of the university for my course that is Geography honours. All the faculty members are of good nature and experienced in their subjects

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
