Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

The college offers a four-year full-time B.Pharm and B.Pharm (Lateral) for the duration of 3 years.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and English/ Mathematics or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology as the optional subjects are eligible for B.Pharm while for B.Pharm (Lateral), Diploma in Pharmacy is required.

Admission to B.Pharm (Lateral) is given as per the merit in the qualifying examination, whereas for B.Pharm (Regular), the candidates have to secure a valid score in MU OET.

Key Points:

• For B.Pharm (Lateral), the institute releases the merit list of the eligible candidates on its website on or before June 16.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 from Open University are also eligible for B.Pharm admission under the Pharmacy Act.
• The candidates who are born on or before January 01, 2001 are eligible for admission.

MAHE offers a two-year M.Pharm program and Pharm. D program for the duration of five years with a mandatory internship of one-year.

Those who have completed B.Pharm from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks are eligible for M.Pharm while A 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science is mandatory for Pharm. D course.

The admission in both the courses is offered on the basis of score of MET conducted by MAHE.

Key Points:                           

• Pharm.D (PB) is offered for the duration of two years with an internship of one-year.
• Candidates can apply under General or Foreign/ NRI categories. Those who have applied under both categories will be considered under General category only.
• MET is an online test of 2 hours with 200 MCQs.
• Merit list of the qualified candidates will be displayed.

D.Pharm is a two-year program while classes for Certificate course on Research Orientation are offered on weekly basis.

Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics or are in the first year of a 3-years degree course or have any other qualification approved by PCI are eligible for D. Pharm.

The candidates in the final year of their PG degree or Research Scholars after Ph.D. registration are eligible to apply.

Selection of the candidates for both the courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

• No entrance test is conducted for admission to these courses.
• Those who are on or before January 01, 2001 are eligible for admission.
• NRI or Foreign candidates are advised to write to the admission cell of the institute for proper guidance.
