Likes

The faculty is very cooperative and encouraging for internships and extra-curricular activities
Various events, competitions like Moot courts, Med-Neg competitions, Debates, etc. are organised over the year

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not at par with the fees they charge.
The teaching aid equipment and study material is also not adequate.

Campus Life:

Overall experience and exposure is good enough, students learn a lot, not just related to their course and field but general personality development. Although there's a lack of push for the students to do more, but for sure there is availability of a lot of opportunities and on the orher part, there is lacking in many resources as well.

Life of a law student at Panjab University

Likes

Campus life and the quality of social interactions is very nice in the university.
Availability of almost all the courts around campus such as High Court, District Court

Dislikes

No availability of Air Conditioners or personal bathrooms in the hostels.
Most of the students who take admission are almost third or fourth generation lawyers of the family

Campus Life:

Campus life is quite good in the college. There are a lot of clubs and societies in the college of which students can be a part of. For eg Moot Court Society, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Client Counselling Board, Legal Aid Clinic and Society, Criminal Kustice Practicum Cell and etc. All the societies conduct varies educational events and fest throughout the year which is funded by the college.

Faculty is good, professors are well versed with concepts of law and explain them to us in a brilliant manner
The University campus provides us with great exposure as well teaches us various skills

Dislikes

Placement rate is very low causing the students to look for companies themselves
Most of the students are inclined towards judiciary or civil services and no new career choices are even offered to the students

Campus Life:

A number of events are organised by the departments ranging from law competitions, law fests nagional level competitions, to that of cultural fests. These provide students with a great opportunity for socialising

Likes

Campus life is great at Panjab University if you a hosteller.
University campus is very spacious and full of greenary.

Dislikes

There’s a lot of group division among the friends group.
There’s lack of discipline and moral ethics among the students.

Campus Life:

Life on campus is really great if you get good and supportive friends. Hostels are open 24x7. There are no much restrictions in the campus, you can go wherever you want at any time. The library is great for studying.

Campus Life:

Since I has joined the campus during covid 19 I didn't get much chance to visit there due to which i don't know about the annual fest or tech fest. Regarding books and journals, they are easily available for campus library and from bookstore located inside it. Many activities are conducted by students of various societies wheter it is Nss or Quiz society or any other society time to time to keep Students excited.

Campus Life:

Campus life is amazing with good WiFi and food facilities. There is a various fest that is held in this university and various celebrities come to this university which becomes a memorable event and a good college life. Many committees are functioning in UILS which includes Sports Committee, National Service Scheme Society, Literary Society and many more. Annual fests include DRISHYAM and AKHADA. The classrooms are well equipped and there are proper hygienic conditions. The library is a bright spot with a huge collection of books and legal magazines. The student crowd is fairly okay.

Campus Life:

There are lots of fests and opportunities here various departments are present which conduct Co-curriculum activities and moot courts are there for students and alternative dispute resolution are there for students to participate all the books for studying are available in copee cafe in PU in sector 14 as far as sports is concerned different grounds for various sports different social groups and student reunions are there for different purposes campus life is awesome fresh air and full with greenery.

Campus Life:

The campus environment is really good. Students and teachers are very supportive and interactive. Fests are organised from time to time as for now Akhada is to be organised in September/ October. Library is one of my favourite places as it has uncountable books with a silent environment, an excellent place to study. A number of clubs are organised for students, by students like MCS and anti-ranging clubs. It organise a number of events like annual sports fest, cultural events, etc.

Campus Life:

Many social groups and organisations are run by the students here. Akhada is one of the famous events of sports that is run by the students of uils. After that, the moot court society organizes moot competitions regularly There are many other organizations run by the students of uils like the sports committee, career development cell, placement cell etc. The students are active socially too on pages like Facebook Instagram and Twitter.

Campus Life:

Department conduct's various fest and one of the fest is akhada which is usually conducted in the month of February usually. It's basically sports event. We have a library in our department and we have a majority of law books available in the library for more books we have AC Joshi library where we can find every type of book. We have a sports department with all the basic and advanced amenities available. We have a sports committee for this purpose and conducting events. We have various committees like legal aid,rotaract , mediation cell, moot court society.
