Remarks :

The other colleges I applied to were army institute of law I did not attend because I got admission to UILS PU I am from general category admission criteria usually is entrance but for our batch, it was based on class 12 CBSE marks on the day of counseling everyone had to be punctual to the time allotted students had to switch on the camera and then they had to verify the details name merit score and attendance was recorded after all this was done student could leave the meeting.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Due to late admissions in our college because covid delay there was a problem in 1st semester it was short other than that rest the examinations are timely and moderately difficult one needs to go through previous years' question papers for exams.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 99000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Cdc department provides an opportunity to students for internship stipend usually depends upon the abilities of the student some fun internships from viral fission Internshala are there for students which give them fun activities and certificate benefit which enhances one's CV.

Placement Experience :

From 9th semester students are eligible for campus placements as such companies do not come very often but on your CV a government University like PU provides a serious advantage over other private colleges as heard from seniors lowest package is 4 lakhs and highest is 10 lakhs there is no fixed percentage of students getting placements are most of them who get apply privately to law firms my plan is to go in corporate law in an mnc firm.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Until now cdc department offers internships and financial assistance is available for sc and St categories stipend and all are offered after you reach the 5th year, of course, the fees for an even semester is rs 61000 and for the odd semester it is 37000 which makes it approx with other additional fees to 99000 per year fees haven't been hiked nor any concessions were offered for the online program through installment system has been introduced for students to pay fees.

Campus Life :

There are lots of fests and opportunities here various departments are present which conduct Co-curriculum activities and moot courts are there for students and alternative dispute resolution are there for students to participate all the books for studying are available in copee cafe in PU in sector 14 as far as sports is concerned different grounds for various sports different social groups and student reunions are there for different purposes campus life is awesome fresh air and full with greenery.

Life at UILS PANJAB UNIVERSITY

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good and has both good and bad sides.Good thing is that the Curriculum is inclusive and covers all aspects in their entirety. Moreover the students also have subjects like moot court and nukkad natak in 5th year which improves their practical skills. One more thing is that though the Curriculum does not give practical knowledge as much in initial years of the degree but the gap is filled by the societies of the department like moot court society and adr ccl board etc. There is good balance between ba subjects and law subjects as uils offers a combined course.

Placement Experience:

Placement is pretty average and can be said as moderate they'll give you all the chances to try in Placement and even pushes the child sometimes ... but in law department mostly people doesn't considers to have placed rather they go for litigation and as for me I would pretty much go for the off campus placement
