According to college, going to different companies for internships is a waste of time, as a student would take time to adjust there So for the past three years, a faculty member has been called in the college itself to give us knowledge about what happens on site and how it works.
JD INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY has an annual fashion show, where the final year students get a chance to showcase their talent on the stage. They provide every necessary thing needed for the show such as models and makeup artists. It gives us insight into how the fashion shows work and what goes behind the scenes of a fashion show.
We received a lot of paid and unpaid internship opportunity from JD. Start-up brands and established brands included. The stipends range from 5k- 15k. The internship roles covered all possible job opportunities in the design field, like fashion consultant, design assistant, illustrator, graphic designer, fashion research role, fine arts intern and needlework intern, blogger, social media marketing intern and much more.
• Only the last semester students are eligible for campus placements if any approach us. • No companies visit our campus of Interiors till I've seen. • You get a list of companies with openings from the college and you can apply on the same. • As mentioned when the college holes a program for the final years companies might choose you there based on your work.
