There are JD design awards conducted in which professionals from different fields come and see the work performed by us. Opportunity is given on that basis Talking about placements, the college is affiliated with huge companies like Homeland, livspace. The placements are given based on your academic performance. There is no guarantee that each student will be placed. But they are placed on the basis of their performance. 50-60% of students would be placed. I would work in a smaller company to get more experience

I joined the course because I was interested in fashion design The teachers at Jd Institute are friendly but they will give many projects every day to complete. Exams are also a little tough, but attending classes properly will not be so hard to pass them. There were 7 to 8 teachers and my class was divided into 3 batches and had nearly 20 people in my batch.
This course is perfect for fashion enthusiasts. The faculty puts in all the effort to make sure every student understands the topics. You get to learn many new things in this course. Teachers have been the biggest support system. We had enough time to study for the term exams and also revise after that. Teachers made it easy for us to pursue this course.
I am very much into fashion. And I have also studied for 2 years. Now I wanted to continue with it to understand and learn more. The faculty is quite a lot and polite. Sometimes they are unorganized but I understand that they have many branches to manage. The student ratio in my batch that is post graduation is only 8 to 10 students. But in other batches, it's more than this. Teaching and qualifications of them are very much experienced and polite. Exams are very much late in July there is a sem 1 exam now I am in sem 2 even though I started the course in august 2020.
JD has an online portal where recruiters post a job advertisement. The same is shared with the students through posters of it on bulletin boards on the campus as well as a detailed message on WhatsApp class groups. Campus interview is conducted by some well-known brands and garment companies annually. Calvin Klein, H&M Arvind fashion and a few other well-knowns brands. I joined the advanced diploma course as a means for me to start my own small business or a boutique, but after studying for 3 years, I came to realise my opportunities are abundant and I could work in the industry instead. Which is what I have in mind now.
• Only the last semester students are eligible for campus placements if any approach us. • No companies visit our campus of Interiors till I've seen. • You get a list of companies with openings from the college and you can apply on the same. • As mentioned when the college holes a program for the final years companies might choose you there based on your work.
One of my friend from the town suggested the college when i checked they got best review In the town and the college is easly accessible from any part of the city. from my personal experience the college follow the current trend
We don't have canteen and hostel so it gets very difficult for us.
I started reviewing the best fashion colleges in Bangalore, and I found about JD institute, I referred the reviews from Facebook and Google, I heard a lot about the exposure which they provide to their students, and giving them a platform to showcase their collection, attracted me to opt this college.
I started reviewing colleges and universities during my last year of high school, including several campus visits. I ended up applying to five different colleges and Jd institution was my top choice in the fashion program, which is ranked as one of the best.
