IDOL GU has a master's program for Assamese, English, economics, history, political science, math, commerce, philosophy, Bengali, BODO, mass communication, science(IT), education, and Sanskrit. IDOL Gauhati offers bachelor programs for computer application (BCA), information technology, arts, and commerce. IDOL Gauhati has a PGD program in human resource management, journalism, mass communication, computer application, sales and marketing management, business management, finance management, insurance and risk management, banking, and financial services. IDOL Gauhati also offers certificate programs for computer applications and community radio technology

Yes, IDOL conducts a short-term skill development training program on the basics of web development in 2019. Students who appeared for 10+2 could apply for the program. The intake capacity was 30 and fees were rs 1500. However, the admission will be done on the basis of merit.

There is also an e-learning portal from where the students can download the study materials. The IDOL GU provides personal contact programs where several faculties take sessions/classes in the study center where students can clarify their doubts face-to-face with the teachers. Tutorial classes are only conducted for postgraduate students of Assamese, English, and pol science. The fee for admission to tutorial classes is rs 1500.

GUIDOL offers two methods for applying. Candidates can first submit an online application via the official website. Second, candidates can submit an offline application at the nearby GUIDOL center.
