Course Curriculum Overview :
For any Bachelor degree, the period of the course is of three years and researches and projects are given as set by Guwahati University." The examinations shall carry 80% weight age for each paper and Home Assignments examinations shall carry 20% weight age. A candidate securing less than 45% of the total marks of the Previous and Final Examinations taken together but have passed all the papers and required number of credits shall be declared term know as Simple Pass
Placement Experience :
Our college has a placement and employment related help centre for Students. Jobs are available in both government and private sectors with high salary post. The college keeps the students updated with various job opportunities available for them and also prepares the students for the showing process.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The course fees for B.A. (General) program are INR 14000 per semester and the course fees for B.Com. (General) program is INR 5000. After the admission, 50% of the amount of the total course fees i.e. INR. The fees structure is very feasible as compared to others. As program fees14000 Rs and examination fees is charged for each semester of Rs.1000. The fees are very feasible as compared to other institutes.
Campus Life :
Now a day, the extracurricular activities like sports, gyms, dancing are developing to increase the personality of students. It really helps in the development of emotional moral and intellectual development.
Hostel Facilities :
The university has a wide range of options that meets the requirements of all students. There are rooms which every student can opt for space as per their convenience and choice.The University offers excellent living lodging within the campus, separately for boys and Girls. The university understands outlook of students who come here from wide variety of cultural and geographical zones. The university ensures making this change smooth and happily.
Admission :
IDOL division of Gauhati University offers M.Com. M.Sc. and MA courses, is accessible in three areas IT, Economics and Mathematics. In MA stream is offered is in 11 areas. All PG courses are of a period of two years. For all the other courses of post graduation, the candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a well known Indian University.
Faculty :
The teachers are really qualified and very helpful. The syllabus is very academic and not very practical then also they make us easy to learn. They also use PowerPoint presentations to teach us. There are regular internal tests conducted to keep the students learn. If we face any problem, then our teachers are always there to help us. Professors in our department were helpful and kind enough to explain certain topics even outside classes. Teaching methods followed by them were common. Overall, the course was helpful to us, but it could have been made a little more active considering the subjects.
