Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) was established in the year 1987 and is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It was started to provide Training and Technical Services to the plastics and allied industries in the state of Telangana. Video Conference: A Video Conference linked class offers the best opportunity to reach out and provide an intercampus discussion whenever a team delegates or an expert is invited to lecture. CIPET has many video conference equipped teaching areas with the ability to connect campus and external areas.
Auditorium & Conference Hall: CIPET Centres have auditoriums that can easily hold an audience of 250. It is fully equipped with audio-video technology and is used for lectures, training, and conferences. Conference Halls has been made to enable the exchange of information during scientific/technical conferences/seminars/ invited lecture/faculty meet.
Cafeteria: CIPET provides cafeteria facility to students and faculty. The cafeteria provides nutritious and affordable food items including hot and cold beverages.
Hostel: The college has hostel facilities with amenities such as internet room, gym lounge, dining hall with a continuous water supply and power back up. CIPET hostels are highly secured.
Library: It has extensive collection relevant to polymer science and technology. More than 50,000 books and journals are available for students and teachers. CIPET also provides e-books from leading scientific publishers on various subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Nano-Technology and many more. Students can access the e-books through the internet anytime they want.
Sports: It provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities to students and encourages its students to maintain physical fitness. Sports are organized on a regular basis through which students get to participate in regional and state-level competitions.

We can eligible for course with examination process , we can find application form in college website , no any seat reserve if any seat empty then you can also apply for lateral entry. I think lateral entry process will become change and provide online application.

Admission:

For admission in this college for this course you must clear the exam that is conducted by CIPET college every year if you do not give this exam you can't enroll for this course in this college exam must need to give and need to clear the cutoff. There is a quota, cutoff marks come according to category (OBC/SC/ST) If you qualify for the exam cut-off you can try for admission. After giving exam result come if you pass qualified marks after that you can put yourself for counseling

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here we learn about the modern processing techniques and the methods for testing in case of plastics.In the foundation course we are taught about how the polymers are processed and on what basis they are characterized.In the next year we are given major insights about the polymer processing techniques such as vacuum forming, extrusion mold forming,injection molding etc so that we get a "hands-on" learning experience on the equipment which is used in the plastic industry.The duration of the course is three years.
