If you want a multi faceted academic college experience, Xavier's is the one.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid around 65000-90000 each semester. Each semester, the tuition fee is INR 16200, the development fee is INR 18000, the additional fee is INR 31200, and other fees depend on the semester. We pay the fees in two installments. I did not receive any scholarship as they do not promote the scholarship but I have heard you can receive a scholarship if you are in need.

Fees of here is bit high. It is around 150000 yearly. They take this amount in 4 installment where 1st two installments are for sem 1 and later is for sem 2. Fees are similar gor everyone no categories. Scholarship is given sometimes

My experience at SXC

Fees per year are: 1.5 lakhs and the ROI is quite good as the lowest package is 4 lakhs and the highest of our department was 19 lakhs, the average being 8 lakhs. Financial assistance is available on merit and needs cum based.

An overview of St Xavier's College, Kolkata.

The fee is although a little high, but it's worth it. I am not aware of any scholarship opportunities present in this college, but if you can somehow manage to afford the fees, it's going to be worth it. Highly qualified teachers are there and everyone is extremely cooperative. You can ask your doubts anytime. The campus placement is amazing. The average placement for my course must be somewhere between 5-7 LPA.

Life at SXC, Kolkata

During the first year of my undergraduate, the fee structure was different. Second-year onwards, there was a sudden hike in the fee structure. After consulting with the students and the parents, the fee structure was again revised and lowered, comparatively. The placement cell of the college constantly brings up internships for all year students via the official Facebook page of the placement cell and the college website. For job opportunities, only the final year students are eligible and are approached physically with on-campus and off-campus interviews.

There is no scholarship in St. Xavier's. I found academic fees irrationally high. If you compare it from DU colleges you will get an idea. This college have quite good placement opportunities. Fees may hike depending about the market conditions.

This college has very limited seats and the some faculty Members are either alumni and sum are highly educated in business academics, science and other such courses. The term exams take place at an interval of 3 months. One is the mid term and the other is the end term. If youäó»re well prepared, itäó»s quite easy to score high marks in the examination.

The syllabus was extremely updated but few subjects could be updated further but weren't. The subjects like accounts we're quite backdated and modern techniques of keeping accounts weren't taught to us, rather we were taught the traditional book-keeping concept. Many new features and development in the Artificial Intelligence sector weren't discussed at that level.
