The college is overall okay. It is the brand name that pulls us here. I feel for a course like "Bcom" the fee structure is very high. For 1 semester there are 2 instalments, 1st instalment of around 55000 and the second for around 32000.

I paid appr. 12000 per year. I pay around 6000 per semester and the payment is in quaterly basis. In each semester there is 2 parts of payments. There is a late charge of 100 rs. And also there are exam fees of 150.

Fees are divided into quarterly basis. For every semester, the fee is paid in two halfs. For my course it was around 6000 for 1 semester which is pretty low for a private college. And you have to pay 100 as the late fee.

Academically Good But Socially Not

I am in 1st semester persuing B.com hons degree in St Xavier's college kolkata. The fee for sem 1 was around 45000 INR and i have found that the fees increase by some percentage yearly. Admission fees was 11000 INR. Students can get considerable relief on Caltholic quota to christian students and also their hostel charges are very less. Sc/St students can also avail some relief on their fees. Scholarship schemes are also offered covering full or partial fees according to the capability of the candidate like . Morning and evening batch have different fee structure. Morning is only for boys and evening is co-ed. Morning batch fees is 37000 per semester for the 1st year atleast.

St Xavier's summary saga

The fees for st xaviers is available on its website beware first of all that don't get confused in sxuk and sxccal and sxc mumbai. All 3 are different with different fees. We are talking about SXCCAL st Xavier's autonomous college kolkata. The first payment at time of registration is 34700/- including a part of semester 1 fees and admission fees. Then subsequently we have to pay 15000 for semester 1 later on by 31st October.(Estimated And following for 2nd semester total is 15000+17000= 32000 for semester 2 For the evening batch of bcom which is noy subsidised by the govt. The total semester 1 fees is 82700/- and semester 2 fees is 62000/- So the difference is significant but there are also a lot of pros in evening batch as well such as it's co-ed, higher competition and more socialising opportunities.
