Course Curriculum Overview:
I came to know about this college from few of my relatives that this is a reputed college and it focuses on academics. I think that the college should have a holistic approach on completing the syllabus and improve in this area. The IT/e-filing practical classes are good. We have internal exams in which more than half of the syllabus has to be prepared for just 10-20 marks internals which I think is good since we get to practice and makes us prepared for our main exam.

- The faculty and discipline of the college is absolutely commendable. If you're attending the lectures regularly
- The social life is amazing. They encourage you to participate in cultural activities both intra college and inter college. This gives a lot of exposure.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not very modern but I wouldn't complain because that's what made the environment for education somewhat.
- The common room is an absolute joke. So practicing for fests would be a task.

They cover everything that is possible to cover in class hours to cover the University syllabus. What they are unable to cover, they will provide notes for. Nothing would unattended. Even during online classes at time of covid, all chapters were thoroughly covered.

- Canteen area is too small it's must be spacious and more numbers of staff in canteen

I was a student pursuing 3 year B.Com degree. Now it's a 4 year programme. B.Com is a must for any commerce students before joining any other specific field. It's like a backbone for future . Specially for Accountant related jobs. The timing of exam is 3 hours per paper . It's enough.

The faculty of the college is experienced, friendly and helpful. They provide immense knowledge to the students. They are one of the main reasons why seventh Sastri college has so much a reputation. The faculty of the college is extremely knowledgeable. Most of the teachers did m.com, Ph.D., charter accountant, cost accountant, and company secretary. They have years of experience in teaching. They teach interactively. Exams are conducted semester-wise after 6 months each .it means that students have to give exams 2 times In a year. Exams are difficult but with good preparation, one can excel in the exam.

As I am from the commerce stream so bcom is the best course for commercial purposes. Faculty focuses on students' studies and take care of that whether students can realize their way of teaching or not. Subjects teacher to the principal is very much helpful. In a year we have 2 semesters.

Our college provide all courses in all stream Science, Commerce. And Arts with both general and Hons degree. I choose this course because from class 10 onwards I like to play with commerce stuffs like accounting business etc. All the facilities are Doctorate some of them wrote the book for HS board and the least is that they have Master degree from a reputable institute. Exams are semester wise.

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue b.com Hons as I have passed higher secondary in commerce background. As there is a huge number of students there are a huge number of professors also to guide the students a single subject has 2-3 teachers so that they can teach the subject properly. The exams were term basis and it was really difficult to pass as the copies were checked thoroughly. So that each and every student gets deserved marks.

I think the syllabus is quite updated but still there's always something better to do and efforts should be made to make it better and better. I think the facaulty is also more or less fine.

Our college follows the syllabus prescribed by University of Calcutta. Our all faculties is very good and it is well provided especially our Accountancy department. It is best college for Commerce. We have six semesters during the entire course.
