Since I'm doing a correspondence bachelor's course, i like that attending the weekend classes is not compulsory as I'm better at self studying which is why i didn't opt for regular college
Getting the study material online is very convenient.

Dislikes

The messages from the University are not always recieved on time, sometimes i never get notified.
Usually the university notifies the students about the upcoming exams but for the last 2 semesters i never got the messages and had to check myself for the admit card from time to time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I pay roughly 7000-8000 every year for 2 semesters. I'm studying BA Prog. (Economics+Pol sc.) and the fees is different for every other course. One of the problems i have for the fee structure is that, when i open the site to see or download my fee receipt on my phone, the amount does not show up however the contents do. Which is one of the reasons I can't list my fee structure in detail here.

I liked that everyone can afford the courses in DU SOL
Conducted very well to distributing hard copy of study material to thousands of students on appointment basis to conduct exams very smoothly

Dislikes

I think Number of classes are very low , which should be increased
Updates regarding college sometimes missed due to no proper communication

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I opt for SOL because , cutt off of general Category is very high that year and I also started my CA course along with college so focusing on my CA course I choose SOL .it is very economical. Average 4000 required in annually which includes exams fees, hard copy of study material online classes as well as offline classes weekly.

Du sol offers different colleges for different classes I liked this fact as being a sol student I can take your of all the du colleges.
The best part is book fees and all are not taken. It's added in 9k only . There r 14 books for ,2 semester and only appointment is needed

Dislikes

Campus canteen has the worst food ever. I almost tried food of all the canteen and the hype of North campus is a waste .
Water coolers are not even cleaned properly

1year fees having 1and 2 semester was 9k something and there was no scholarship system. But from the next year girls having 8+CGPA will get scholarship. Now for the 2nd year there will be fees payment again.

Likes

The teachers in psychology department are pretty supportive and helps you even after classes.
Study material and books provided are in good condition.

Dislikes

SOL fail to be on time, if its starting of the semester or examination datesheet.
There too many students in one class so it's difficult to study.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

There are no scholarships available but they do provide financial aid to students who score above 8 CGPA. But surprising not even student could get above 8 CGPA in the first year. They also promise to shift the students to regular college if there performance is exceptional.

The college is pretty good as regularity is not required . Only time we have to go to the college is for giving exams and also get to know about different type of people as diversity is required also the teachers are good whenever you meet them.

Basically it's a distance learning, but they also provide classes offline on weekends.
Highly affordable if looking for distance learning.

Dislikes

They normally conduct their clases offline( I have not attended those as I m not from Delhi). They should also bring some online system also.
Sol management system. They issue date sheet very late.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Annual fees - Around 5000 Scholarship - You can apply for the reservation category Total fees - Around 15000 Normally it does not increase. It's highly affordable. If you are looking for an affordable distance learning college then it's the best.
