DU SOL Latest Updates and News
DU SOL Admission 2024 is open through CSAS. Round 3 schedule has been released on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates can check the latest updates in the section below.
- The upgraded allocation result has been announced on September 3. Students allotted seat need to complete fee payment by September 4. The last date to pay the admission fee is September 6.
- Application for mid-entry will remain open from September 7 to 9.
- CSAS Round 3 Seat Allotment result will be announced on September 11. Check detailed schedule here

Course Curriculum Overview:
As I belong to commerce background and my aim to acquire knowledge regarding the subject of management and accountancy. These are found in the course i.e B.COM( Hons) . Also it's help in achieving the Aim of my life.
Likes
- Since I'm doing a correspondence bachelor's course, i like that attending the weekend classes is not compulsory as I'm better at self studying which is why i didn't opt for regular college
- Getting the study material online is very convenient.
Dislikes
- The messages from the University are not always recieved on time, sometimes i never get notified.
- Usually the university notifies the students about the upcoming exams but for the last 2 semesters i never got the messages and had to check myself for the admit card from time to time.
Course Curriculum Overview:
First of all when i registered my admission i opted for Political Science Honrs. but the university changed my course to ba prog on its own.I like the curriculum of my major subjects economics and political science. But some of the minor subjects are very irrelevant of my course. For eg: I have to choose between hindi or some other language for my minor which is ridiculous. I can't just start studying some other language and the Hindi curriculum is too hard for me as the last time i had that subject was in 10th standard. However it leaves me no choice but to choose and study hard on my own just for a minor subject which is not even relevant. I would much rather spend my time on the relevant subjects.

- Conducted very well to distributing hard copy of study material to thousands of students on appointment basis to conduct exams very smoothly
Dislikes
- I think Number of classes are very low , which should be increased
- Updates regarding college sometimes missed due to no proper communication
Course Curriculum Overview:
In DU SOL there is no curriculum activities as much. We require to study at home and mostly attend online classes in lockdown. Sometimes college conducte programs like Rally , quizs etc. which students thinks quite boring to participate.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I am from a commerce background that why I have chosen B.Com(hons) in my graduation. If you are decided to do B.Com(hons) then at present the courses offered in the b. Com(hons) is inclusive of some subjects form BBA like fundamental of stock market.

Course Curriculum Overview:
As I am from commerce background and also have interest in B.Com(Hons). AS B.Com(Hons.) provide more valuable subjects to you like Corporate account, Taxation and many more which are also present in the syllabus of CA. Also fro this year new additional BBA subjects are listed which will increase your learning.

- Du sol offers different colleges for different classes I liked this fact as being a sol student I can take your of all the du colleges.
- The best part is book fees and all are not taken. It's added in 9k only . There r 14 books for ,2 semester and only appointment is needed
Dislikes
- Campus canteen has the worst food ever. I almost tried food of all the canteen and the hype of North campus is a waste .
- Water coolers are not even cleaned properly
Course Curriculum Overview:
Exams are mostly easy and the syllabus is also easy but the online assessments are way harder than offline exams. U can easily score 7-8 CGPA after studying your syllabus from youtube. Syllabus is also not that much and easy to cover

- The teachers in psychology department are pretty supportive and helps you even after classes.
- Study material and books provided are in good condition.
Dislikes
- SOL fail to be on time, if its starting of the semester or examination datesheet.
- There too many students in one class so it's difficult to study.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is mainly same as that of what I studied in class 12th. The only difference is that it is depth.The curriculum is relevant to and is comprehensive as well. The curriculum itself does not prepare you for real world applications, you have to prepare extra and find internships and put in effort. The course could have been improved if it was simple ro understand even for those who are studying psychology for the first time. The exams are not that difficult and timings are also as they should be so there is no issue in that.

- The people are good and there response that we get are awesome

- Nothing to bhe honest as the time to people to proffers all all
Course Curriculum Overview:
The exams are pretty good at they are only taken at the time when we are required like two times in a year or you can say in a semester and also the exams are like not too long or two short their moderate and very good to get past and also to get good marks

- Basically it's a distance learning, but they also provide classes offline on weekends.
- Highly affordable if looking for distance learning.
Dislikes
- They normally conduct their clases offline( I have not attended those as I m not from Delhi). They should also bring some online system also.
- Sol management system. They issue date sheet very late.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As I have earlier discussed the course structure it is well-designed. U will get knowledge of accountancy, law, income tax, goods and service tax, costing, financial management, audit etc To some extent it's aligned with ca course also. Frequency of exams - Total 6 semesters, twice a year. Timing of exams - It can be a morning shift or evening shift also.

Yes, students from Science streams are also eligible to apply for admission in the B.Com program of DU SOL. The minimum mark required to be eligible for admission is 40% in aggregate. Admission is granted based on the merit of the qualifying examination passed.
The minimum mark required to pursue the MA Political Science course of DU SOL is 50% in aggregate. If you do not meet the minimum mark requirement you are not eligible for admission.
If you have completed BA History course from DU than you are eligible for admission to MA course and if you have passed from any other university than you are not as the eligibility criteria for MA program is a BA (Hons) History degree with 55% or above from recognized University.
