Likes

Good environment and good faculty, specially our professor form our department were very friendly
The faculty is very well experienced in teaching and our department provides smart class facility also to enhance our learning

Dislikes

There is no placement system in our college
Infrastructures of our college is very well but the size of the campus is small

Our nowgong college is very well reputed in our area and it NAAC accredited A++ to it to other than this, our college geography department is very well reputed The nss has helped us know our responsibility towards our society and helped build personality. Increasing the campus size and also adding a playing ground in the list. The exams are held very soon before six months so it is hard to cope up

I like my teacher in department of Bcom, they were very helpful during my graduation and help me a lot in my dissertation.
And there was a place to hangout during class break its called Bridabon and it was surrounded by many trees which was a love in the campus

Dislikes

The administration department was very chaotic in nature and not helpful
It has all private canteens in campus not a single college canteen

Course Curriculum Overview:

At that time the college was affiliated to Gauhati University, so all exam schedule are given by GU only. The internal exams are after 2 to 3 months commencements of semester classes and mostly final exams are happen in the 5th month of every semester

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course for many state-level recruitment jobs. In our department, there are 50 students in our class with 5 numbers of qualified professors with M.Sc. and PhD degree holders. There was 1 terminal exam after each 3 months and 1 semester exam after 6 months as a final exam. It was easy to carry a good rank from our college as the result of hardworking teachers.

Likes

The college faculty members are very disciplined and helpful .
The grading system is very good and better than many college of the entire state.

Dislikes

A placement cell is yet to be created which is a slightly inconvenient.
The career counseling cell is not that much active right now as it is not used very frequently.

Course Curriculum Overview:

With a keen interest in the subject, I chose geography as my honours subject in the college as it's department of geography is renowned in the entire state for it's good teaching methods and producing good results. The faculty of the geography department is one of the best in the college and includes teachers with PHDs and masters degrees. The teachers are very disciplined and best in their fields. They prepare students not only for the near future but for the far future too. They share their knowledge at the best and help students to score good marks by helping them understand the concepts from the base. Two exam are help every semester. The 1st term exam are held after 2 months and end terms are held after 4 months. The new semester starts immediately after the end term exam. The exams are quite easy to pass.

I choose this course as I like physics rather than any other subjects. The faculty members are very good and supportive. There are sessional exams every 3months in each semester and it is not that hard to pass if you study hard.

The Physics Department is one of the best departments here. faculties are highly qualified with a Ph.D. degree. The science departments with laboratories and classrooms are built in a separate set-up at the right-hand comer of the campus.

The examination process is simple. There is 1st to 6th semester. 100 marks for each exam. It was easy I'm experienced. Before the pandemic, our examination was held in our college but in pandamic, our examination is held online.

I choose this course because at present time this course has demand. There was good faculty:Student ratio 2:3. Maximum faculty has M.Com, MBA with PhD. The teaching method was good. They take exams timely. There was no difficulty to pass the exam.
