The Morigaon college was established in 1964, is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in Nagaon District of Assam. It has been accredited by NAAC with ‘B’ grade with a CGPA of 2.47. The college undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various specializations. Admission to the college is done on the basis of merit scored in the previous qualifying examination. A total of 1695 students were admitted to UG courses, 30 in PG courses, and 2 students enrolled in Ph.D. degrees.

Eligibility - For the graduation in commerce, just need to complete the 12th. After that we can apply. Application form and other details regarding admission process are available in the website of the college (morigaoncollege.com) There are reservation according to the cast and BPL student. Commerce Department should be under fully government, other wise we have to paid the extra money for the course.

The teachers are very supportive.they help every student. they do their duty very honestly. And our principal sir is also a very kind hearted man.also our. College executive is very good.

College campus is beautiful but need to advanced it eco friendly classes, toilets. The non teaching staffs of the college must be more active for cleaning and maintaining the campus security. More frequent water accessibility is needed.
