The admissions to the UG and PG courses at Alagappa College of Technology are entrance-based. The selection criteria for the courses are mentioned below:
- UG Admission: Admission to B.Tech. courses are purely based on marks obtained in the Higher secondary examination. The admission is done through a single-window system conducted by Anna University. Candidates need to register for TNEA. Merit lists/Ranks are prepared on the basis of 10+2 marks and then counselling is conducted based upon the ranking.
- PG Admission: Candidates must have a valid GATE score or a recent TANCET score. Ranks Lists will be released based upon the GATE/TANCET score. Then counselling is done based upon this ranking.

Admission:
You will join in the leather technology through TNEA counselling process. The application date will open within one month after the 12 exam results. Other wise management quota also available. For that, you will pay amount for the seat that will depends on your marks and cut off marks.

To get enrolled in ACT Anna University, you should have a minimum cutoff of 175 ( it varies every year with the respective course). The student must enroll through TNEA and three rounds of counseling happen.

Admission:
Got in through the counseling process. Eligibility is 12th pass. Applied through Tamilnadu common engineering counseling based on 12th marks. The allotment is done as per eligibility and availability of seats.

- The library, canteen, sports board and the gym are literally the best.

- Basically there is nothing that I disliked in this college. I loved everything.
Admission:
Basically, enrollment into this college takes place via TNEA Counselling, and you can easily get into this college if you have a cutoff above 185 out of 200. I had a cutoff of 189 and got the course. The cutoff is calculated using the marks you scored in your 12th-class exams. You can find the application form and all sorts of things on the TNEA website. The admission process is perfect and I don't expect anything else to be changed.

The syllabus is good , teaching faculty are good and teaching methods are average it is easy to pass if we work on the concept with little sincerity in studying. If you need to get higher grades you have to do well in internals.
