My course curriculum is very relevant since we are taught basic c++ in first semester which is very rare. My midsems and endsems contains of 30 marks and 105 marks respectively. Three midsems are held per semester. Out of which we first take two best midsems than get average out of them(which I personally found very annoying but overtime I realised it is to help students to have less academic weight on them). If I have to give advice for improvement ,it is to remove 75 percent attendance which is sometimes fatal it gives detainment a lot in midsems and in endsems it is very lethal for student.

It is not that bad or that good but as normal as we can say ..... Simply if the student is focused towards his/her future then there is not such problems. And can easily succeed if he is focused towards his/her goal

I am a student in Information technology. I believe the course is a bit outdated as we are also taught a lot of electronics subjects as well. The labs included with this course are good and provide real practical knowledge and also prepares you for the industry. However, the course can be improved by including more practical subjects and removing some subjective ones. The timing of exams is very uncertain and hinders with your preparation. hence that can also be improved.

Every Semester have atlest 7 to 8 subjects out of which 1 or 2 subject are increasing the communication skills of the student. Some irrelevent subject also includes in the curriculum. Some teachers have the best teaching methods but some also are not interested in teaching.

The faculty and the studies in the college are decent like in other engineering colleges!( Hope you get it) It is an autonomous college so we have our seperate exams not like the university ones so we have 2 mid semester exams and one final end semester exam after every semester. The course is pretty decent in information technology.

I chose engineering information technology because it seamlessly merges my fascination with technology and my innate problem-solving skills. In the ever-evolving landscape of IT, I see a dynamic field that constantly challenges me to learn and innovate. The blend of engineering principles and information technology not only aligns with my academic interests but also provides a solid foundation for addressing real-world issues. I am drawn to the prospect of contributing to societal advancements through technological solutions, and I believe that pursuing engineering information technology equips me with the tools to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly changing digital era. Faculty is also good and supportive Exam were on time and it is little bit difficult for a state board students

I am an engineering student in information technology branch , my reason for opting this course is due to my interest in technology and as engineering student you always had a plus point of exploring other opportunities during my college days. The college gives free time to students in which I can explore my other interests too. Talking About faculty, teachers are gate qualified and have pretty good knowledge but since it's a government college teachers are not as much as supportive and the teaching methods of some faculties is just same as school. Some are pretty supportive but some are pretty rude . Since I'm first year student I just have given my 2 midterm exams and they were held as per scheduled time.

I chose this course because of its future scope. Faculties are good enough for your semester exams. They are dedicated,. punctual and helpful. Sem exams are held after 1-2 months. End sems are held after midsems.
I got this because of fewer marks in Jee and this is a good college with fewer fees the faculty is good and the ratio of faculty and students is 50 students to teachers and there are many teachers who are in the training.
RGPV is a government college and because of this all of the courses which it offers are quite good to get a well-reputed job. IT or CSE will be the best option if you want good placements. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at UIT RGPV is 3 LPA.
Now, whether you will be able to prepare for UPSC, along with your engineering degree or not, that depends on you.
Thus, you can prepare for UPSC if you really want to, and choosing IT will make it easy for you to lower the burden of academics.
