The Truth About FACULTY OF LAW

Environment - this centre is placed in North campus, full of greenery and all the main colleges and office of DU are placed near.
Faculty - faculty here is well qualified and big names. For example belu gupta mam, who herself an ex-judge, sourabh Rana sir who cracked many exams

Dislikes

Water- no drinking water facility till our first year, but now they are providing water after students protested against them.
Wifi- no wifi facility till first year but now they are providing the wifi .

Campus Life:

Don't expect a huge fest or fresher, our fresher is conducted in front of college, just dance and some fights also , time bound enjoyment. Books are available in lc2 library but in limited numbers. No AC rooms which is quite reasonable in this much fee, and no smart classes, which is not required. No sports events just a normal event conducted at our time . Many societies are made but only few of them are active.

Likes

The university offers a rich experience of diversity with students from diverse background and interest. Since the colleges are close proximity with one another there is ample of opportunities to socialize and build connections.
The university also host different seminars regularly. There are also different societies that caters everyones need and dreams and provides a room for learning.

Dislikes

The teaching standards are something not upto to par. Most of the teachers communicate in hindi despite it being an english medium college.
The infrastructure also need improvements. Class amenities needs to be greatly improved. Like fans and cooler and ac if possible . The bathrooms are not fit fir such a respectable university

Campus Life:

The library is well maitained and offers a ruch collections of books. It offers of the most complete set of books fir law i would say . The faculty host a number of fest every year not less then 4 in a year which is usually held around april and may. College anual fest, freshers party northest fest to name a few . The facilitates and technological provision in the classroom are almost nil .with each classrooms offfering no more then three working fans . While the rest of the university host a rich and vibrant sports culture the faculty of law itself does not it is almost non existent. There are a number student run groups and clubs they offer a better understanding of various subject. And offers an students to learn real life experiences.

The crowd and the exposure you get here you get no where.
The college socities very active specially legal aid society

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is not sufficient and lacks proper library.
The teachers are not intereseted in teaching often involve in student politics.

Campus Life:

There is no annual fest especially related to faculty. The library is not at par with the number Of students in the faculty and the books are of old editions. The classrooms are old board classes. The faculty lacks sports facilities

Broad alumni base which helps in getting comfortable to learn the process and scope after compmeting llb from faculty of law

Large strength of students enrolled into the college
Lack of proper drinking water facilities such as water cooler and purifiers

Campus Life:

Various fests and annual events are organised within the college and university every year involving various fun activities. Wide range of books and journals concerning your interest are available in the library of college campus. Students are allowed to bring their mobile phones laptops and their devices into the classrooms to use while taking classes for taking notes and surfing the sites that helps in enhancing the better understanding of the student.

Delhi University's Law Faculty is awesome! The teachers there really know their stuff and help students understand law in a practical way. They make learning fun and interesting.
there are lots of chances for hands-on experience through things like mock trials and internships

Dislikes

While Delhi University's Faculty of Law has its strengths, it also faces challenges. Some students feel that the infrastructure could be better, with issues like overcrowded classrooms and limited resources
Additionally, there have been concerns raised about outdated teaching methods and a lack of practical exposure to real-world legal issues.

Campus Life:

There is only annual fest and farewell cum induction festival nothing much in law faculty the library included all the journal and also the online journal published by oxford and every other universities and country. classroom are not equipped with much technology becuz we don't even require it There are many club ,social group, election group etc.

Permanent faculty members are v nice, improvement needed for guest faculty .
string alumni base helps you a lot in building connections in all courts across the country .

Dislikes

societies and extra curriculars can be made more efficient in the college alongwuth the teacher convenors
delay and cancellation of classes at last moment is an avoidable situation for law faculty students

Campus Life:

Yes the college groups are very active . We have a lot of societies like entreprenurial law clinic, LSS., social service clubs, moot court society . The library is newly designed and has all the facilities alongwith relevant books too .

Campus life- here campus life is so good here is so good for exposure.
College - For name and fame, exposure where students get easily internship and job. By the name and fame of this college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure - There is nothing proper campus to play or doing anything but infrastructure of building is so good.
Placement- Here placements cell is not give any effort for placement of students.

Campus Life:

The exposure of this campus is so good. From here students can grow there knowledge very well. Library is also well and developed. There is also opportunities to grow their career in politics as well as sports. Students also run some social groups to aware society. Facilities in this college is so good.

i like the building structure of my college and amenities in the college
there are so many cheao food stalls nearby college so its very easy to find food near college

Dislikes

first thing i dislike is canteen of the college, taste of food is very bad

SK Puri Moot Court Competition is the flagship program of LC 2, college life is quite good in the campus you have lots of things to learn in campus, you can meet new people throughout your college journey, there's are so many societies also in college like NSS, MOOT COURT SOCIETY, LEGAL AID SOCIETY

Faculty of law provides the safest environment for everyone.

College infrastructure is one of the thing which I dislike the most.

Campus Life:

There is no college fest held in college. One of the best things in CLC is a library and if you are a reader then you'll feel blessed to be there. You'll go to find every kind of book related to law. The library is quite rich in resources. Infrastructure is not good in classrooms but teachers are too good, especially in CLC. Faculty do not conduct any sports competitions but you can participate in sports competitions which are Conducted by Delhi University.

Life at CAMPUS LAW CENTRE DU.

There is lot of greenery around the campus and there are many colleges and their canteens are open for everyone so everyone get to enjoy their and you can enjoy food and come food and company of your friends.
The library of Delhi University is magnificent, where you get everything. At the central library of the daily University is 24 into 7 functional

Dislikes

More work can be done on concrete infrastructure.

Campus Life:

The Ambience is so good here because so many colleges are situated around the law of faculty you get all the North campus Vibe. you get to meet many students of different streams which always adds to your personality and gives you many opportunities for learning.
