  • College infrastructure is one of the thing which I dislike the most.

Course Curriculum Overview :

During my under grade I joined one of the Ngo and from there I realized that " The one who don't know about his own rights are more vulnerable towards exploitation" so I decided to do an LL.B so that I could spread legal awareness in society with the help of other Ngo. The faculty of law is quite good and nowadays most females are choosing law as a career option Because of that the gender ratio in Du Faculty of law is approximately 50:50.

Internships Opportunities :

Being a part of the Legal Aid Society I did an internship at Plan India international organization although I didn't get a stipend in return the experience was amazing. To get more internship opportunities you should be the societies.

Placement Experience :

When you're looking for a corporate job the NLU stands higher than the Du Faculty of Law but it doesn't mean that it does not provide placement. Separate societies were created for placement and who works really hard in these areas and because of those efforts many students got placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

When we look around we see that most of the nlu's are charging fees in Lakhs of rupees and in comparison to that Du Faculty of Law is charging only 6000rs which can be easily affordable by poor students as well. Recently there's been a hike in fees but that also doesn't affect students that much. Du Faculty of Law also provide scholarship to poor students.

Campus Life :

There is no college fest held in college. One of the best things in CLC is a library and if you are a reader then you'll feel blessed to be there. You'll go to find every kind of book related to law. The library is quite rich in resources. Infrastructure is not good in classrooms but teachers are too good, especially in CLC. Faculty do not conduct any sports competitions but you can participate in sports competitions which are Conducted by Delhi University.

Admission :

I did my graduation from my home town in b.com and in 3rd year I started preparing for the Du LL.b exam which was later conducted in cuet only. Preparing for the entrance exam is a fun process for me because I have an interest in law If you also have an interest in law then give it a shot Du LLB. For applying in Du Faculty you need to Complete your under-gradation in any course. You can find the application form on the Faculty of Law website.

Placement Experience:

Speaking the truth, if one is considering placement in law courses here on this campus then it's not the right place. Indeed there are placements here too but not as per the expectations rather students do well in off-campus placements than going for on-campus placements. With an average placement of 3-4 lacs here on this campus if you still are inclined towards the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doing law was a very instant decision of mine I got an interest in law during my preparation for DU -JAT and then I realized why not go for both professional couses in one go. Faculty members at gibs are very supportive and friendly they keep on motivate the students through different teaching methods. If you are at gibs you don't have to worry much about the term exams because the college prepares you for the exam from the starting they take the class test after the completion of every unit and then the internal is also there. I faced no difficulty in preparing myself for the term exams as I went through the learning process and what I have to do is only revision.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are not the biggest strength for the law department. The rate is too low. Although they offer great internships starting from 3rd year. But campus placements aren't that efficient. Although they're expanding it now and working on it.
