As UIET is in Panjab University campus life is very good.
Campus size and vibes-Good market under campus attractive campus and crowd

Dislikes

Hinglish medium of teaching i not liked but after some time i like it.
The course curriculum can be demanding and require a lot of hard work from students.

Likes

College life quite nice they are multiple events and clubs that you can take part in. We can see a fun environment during events or elections
Teachers are quite lenient in terms of attending classes we can have multiple bunks and teachers typically don't care so we get lot of time to study

Dislikes

The washrooms are the worst don't find a single good washroom in the whole institute and also there is a problem of water
Teachers don't want to give you marks no matter what you write in the paper even if the things are correct they won't give you marks

Placement Experience:

Placements are fine if you are into software and want to go to IT side however very few students are eligible for placements as many students have reappears and low CGPA and many don't have any skill. It's vary hard to get placed in core companies only a couple of students from each branch get to core companies with good package. My placement drive have not yet started but from hearing from seniors placement record have gone down significantly.

Teachers of my specific branch , specific department EEE , Student politics+ Govt. College hai to chakkar lagane padte kaafi kaam karane ke liye

Placement Experience:

CSE and IT placements are good . Talking about the core branches such as EEE , mechanical the chances of government jobs are pretty much high if you crack up GATE or other JE exams . On campus placement mainly depends upon CGPA

Election Vibes every year Election by different political parties
Allowing own vehicle 2wheeler and 4wheeler both

Placement is good here.Most of colleges show their off campus placement on their website and we confused there In last year average package was 9.5lac for (CSE,IT,ECE). Highest placement is given by Amazon of 45lac.amazon gives 4student American express gives a offer to 14students deolite 14students KPMG to 21students.And many more offers.Every year 50+ company visit here.DRDO also visit there.

faculties here are good overall as they are very supportive.
sports facilities are good and if you have interest in it then you can definitely go for it.

Dislikes

campus size is not that large as expected .
exposure is less here overall and coding culture is not up to the mark.

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester students from all branches are eligible for placements. there are so many companies that come here .some of the top recruiters are Amazon-14 offers, Samsung-15 offers,Deloitte-14 offers,KPMG-21 offers and many more . the highest package was offerd by amazon that was 31 lpa and the average package offerd here is 900000 and almost 90 percents students get placed here . my plans are to get a descent package in a good company.

Labs are outdated and must be upgraded immediately

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placements here are decent. I took admissions in this course due to practicals and labs. Minor exams are held twice a semester and major exams are held once every semester. Infrastructure can be improved.

no sports facilities available in the college

Placement Experience:

Placement stats will defer for different branches, like for CS and IT, i guess 85-90% students are placed with average package of 8.5 lakhs per annum. for ECE, EEE and mechanical,around 50-70% are placed, depends on the batch with average package of 6-7 lpa. I'm planning for managment studies after getting the degree coz I'm not enjoying my course

hostel are good they include gym and good mess food
swimming pool is there also pharmacy for medical emergency

Dislikes

no equipments in labs of chemistry and physics
professor are not very friendly they don;t reaaly care about student

Course Curriculum Overview:

i want to become software engineer from a early age so after my jee result this is the best college in which i can enroll to become a software engineer . faculty of uiet is okay, some of the professor are good but not all many of them don't really care about students. exam happen frequently in college including minors.

Because of my interest in information technology. Here all the facilities members are very good. They clear all the doubts of all the students. Maximum faculty form iit. One semester one minor. The paper level was easy.

Campus is very beautiful with large no of grounds and gardens

Dislikes

Boys hostels are less ! therefore everyoyne doesn't get hostels easily

from the 7th semester, I think students are eligible for placements. a large no of companies visit here for placements the ROI of this college is very well mostly everyone gets placed in college placements maybe I will go for a job or higher studies! I m giving a rating on the basis of ROI

I loved the clubs like sports committee, GDSC etc. They are awesome.
I loved the campus life. The campus is having so much greenery.

Dislikes

I did not like that there are very less students in other branches.
I did not like the way Goonj '23 was conducted.

Placement Experience:

Yes, placements are present. It happens in July for final-year students. You can apply by contacting TPC. You may check the statistics of TPC, on LinkedIn or their official website. Almost all CSE students get placed. Other branch students also get placed. A lot of technical companies visit the campus every year.
