DOMS IIT Roorkee Placements 2023 final report is released with 100% placements recorded. A total of 64 students registered for placements. 37.50% of the total students received pre-placement offers. DOMS IIT Roorkee average package increased by 9% to INR 18.34 LPA whereas highest package increased about 8% to INR 27.94 LPA. More than 50 recruiters participated in the placement drive. Some of the top recruiters included Accenture Strategy, Adani, Barclays, Dell, Deloitte, Cognizant, HCL, EY, IBM etc. The highest number of students were placed in the Operations, IT & Analytics domain (33%) followed by Marketing domain (29%). Students received diverse job roles like Management Trainee, Accelerated Leader, Young Leader’s Program, Assistant Manager, Associate & many more.
DOMS IIT Roorkee Summer Internship Placements 2024 final report is also released. According to the report, the highest stipend increased by 52.50% to INR 2.7 Lakhs while the average stipend increased by 31% to INR 1.05 Lakhs per month. The highest number of students were selected in the Marketing domain (29%) followed by the General Management domain (23%).

The placement cell of my college is very dedicated. Various prestigious companies like Infosys, TCS, HCL, Amazon, etc. visit my college during placement drive. They offer lucrative packages and job positions. The average package offered to us was 14LPA and the highest package offered was around 18LPA. I got a package of 15LPA at Infosys.
Placement Experience:
Here, the placements are excellent. During my placement year, prestigious firms such as RBS, KPMG, Bristlecone, Vedanta, Infosys, HCL, MAZARS, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, Kelton Tech, TCS, and others came to recruit. Leading high-growth startups also offered sought-after positions like Product management. The average package offered to us was 14 lakhs and one even got a salary package as high as 18.7 lakhs by Deloitte.
Placement Experience:
In our batch 35 students were freshers. So don't worry if you have no experience. The average/mean annual salary was INR 10.12 lakhs and the Highest CTC was 18.68 Lakhs per annum.

The summer and final placements are good every year. Many companies come to the campus for recruitment as it is a part of IIT. In summer placement of 2020, the highest stipend was INR 180000 and average was INR 50,160.
Placement Experience:
Only those who opt out are not eligible for placements, it has a class size of 90 students and a placement rate of 98 percent. The report is available on the college's website. The highest remuneration package available was 54 lpa . The average remuneration package is about 9.6 lpa . 7.5 lpa is the lowest wage package available. KPMG, RBS, Infosys, Oyo, and others are among the top firms. Summer internships are completely managed by the college placement staff.
Placement Experience:
B.Tech programmes of IIT Roorkee are the flagship one's but the DOMS here is equally famous for its MBA programme. The 2020 placements had around 40 well known companies in the recruiters among which the top one's were Airtel, HDFC, HCL technologies, Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte and Cognizant. The highest salary for MBA programme during campus placements of 2020 was INR 19 lacs and the average salary was also pretty good. The salary I got was worth INR 14 Lacs per annum

If you are afraid that you might not get any jobs if you are a fresher, then don't worry in my batch, 35 students were freshers and they got ample amount of job opportunities. The mean CTC was calculated as INR 10.12 LPA.

The placements committee at the DOMS for the MBA programme grooms the students in the best way by organising various mock-up events and activities. The institute invites prominent international as well as domestic recruiters who employ the students in higher rate. Placements records gets higher every year with all the students of MBA batch getting placed at reputed organizations. Even the institute recorded its highest CTC at INR 18.68 LPA.

The highest and average CTC were INR 57 LPA and 15.10 LPA in the year of 2020. Some top recruiting domains are - Operations, Marketing, Finance etc. Some top recruiting companies are - Outlook, Tata motors, Hexagon etc .
