Likes

Teachers are friendly and interacts well, and also gives us opportunity in every aspects.
Students are friendly as it's an all girls college so it's comfortable

Dislikes

Some teachers are biased and gives special attention to good students only.
Teachers pressurized students specially practical courses like geography

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course provide us great knowledge about the world. As a geography student practicals are taken very seriously and is done seriously. Even though there is pressure all the things are done in a systematic manner. Exams are also good and paper is set accordingnto our syllabus.

College campus is pleasant and beautiful
College is near to main road of dibrugarh so there no issue in transportation to reach the college

Dislikes

I couldn't find anything bad about our college campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college organized several workshop on various topics that are beneficial for student and also provide extra courses such ase on cyber security ,photoshop and many other. Our college conduct according to the notice provided by our board of university on time and follow all the according its instruction provided .

The teachers of my faculty are quite good nd try to give the students proper education they need
From my faculty usually the teachers don't skip classes nd usually take regular classes nd provide the materials we need for our studies

Dislikes

The Campus is not that big but... there is a common room provided to sit in the free time

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is of 3 year long duration. There's a total of 14 papers and each semester we get specific papers according to our sem ( ex: sociology of religion, sociology of gender, kingship, stratification, etc.) + we have a Generic subject. With generic in every semester we had a compulsory subject with our honors and Generic, indeed it was something new that we learned.

Likes

There is a library in the college that I like the most.
The teachers are very helpful mostly the teachers of our department.

Dislikes

There is no playground or any filed that the girls can play during sports week.
There is no any co-curricular activities for the girls.

I always had interest in Education as a subject course. This curriculum really helped me a lot for my exam preparation and also for the future. The teaching methods and the curriculum is quite impressive.

The faculty of our department is very good and hardworking.They teach with different methods
The environment is very suitable for learning

Dislikes

The playground is too small to conduct any outdoor activities in the campus
The class routine is not student friendly sometimes it has too many hours of gap between two classes which waste the time of the students

I chose this course because it has a lot of scope in the real world and our curriculum gives us the opportunity to teach us the practical aspects of education especially in teaching and pedagogy, The curriculum truly prepares us for the future as it has many practicals and teaching courses under it, However more or technology can be made in the teaching process, The exams are quite difficult and the final semester examinations are held after every 6 months

The dedication of the faculty members of the department. They were regular and finished the courses on time.
Digital classrooms, computer rooms and labs are there which makes the teaching learning process fun and effective.

Dislikes

The playground or field of the campus is too small to carry out some activities
Some teachers are often late to class and do not give a lot of hardwork to explain the concepts, they simply read it out

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well planned. It has many practical aspects which is useful in the outside or real world. Teaching practice and practical application of tools are taught. However more audio visual aids and other equipments could be used for making the learning better. The examination pattern is good but most of the time 6 months course is not given before the exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I chose for my further studies was to learn about the historical background, past cultures, monuments, and so on. I was also preparing for exams like UPSC, and APSC. The faculty-student ratio was like 1:25 students. Almost all the faculties were post-graduates. The teaching approach involves a mix of lectures, seminars, interactive sessions, and research projects. Exams were typically scheduled according to the academic calendar and adhered to set timelines for midterms and finals. Repeated exams were been held so it was not so difficult to pass the exam.

I won't give a negative remark to a Institute where I am studying as I am gaining knowledge from that institution, I will say that it's a good college and our English major teachers were very good, they are very friendly

Admission:

Admission to various courses in our college is done based on the criteria of merit. That is the percentage of marks obtained by a student at the 10 + 2 or equivalent level are taken into consideration for preparing the merit list for admission to various programmes. Applications for admission can be made online as well as offline. Online application has to be made through the official website of the college while for offline admission one has to get the application from the college reception fill it and submit the same to the college.
