the course that i have opted for is Political science hons, i took it for career benefits like civil services exam, SSC exams and more. It awares you about what is happening around the world with proper concept behind it, with different schools of studies and more. As it is under CU, Calcutta University the difficulty and study pressure is really high and the exam dates depend on CU. and as it is said no one can really predict CU.
The course syllabus was covered wholly from the beginning till the end. The faculty is really good. There are qualified teachers who are really supportive. However, we were not provided enough industrial exposure.
The course is good and the professors for this course are excellent. The best thing about the college is the library. It is a huge one and contains all major books as per the course. Studing in this college is really wonderful and satisfying for me.
The course syllabus is very much updated and interesting. It does provide some exposure. Throughout the course all the faculty memebers did an amazing job. The faculty makes sure that no student faces any problem with the syllabus as such.
The course was very intense and good. As I mentioned before, the faculty is one of the best available. SCP ma'am, Sayoni Chakraborty Patra is my absolute favourite. They treat you like family. Especially outstation students are frequently asked about their circumstances. We had enough exposure through inter college matches, quizzes, seminars, mock parliaments etc. The only thing lacking was work experience. I recently checked the website of my college just to check the fee structure (to fill this form), and I saw Loreto's intiative to find internships for its students. So I don't think it's a problem anymore.
It is quite feasible if seen from a general perspective. But eventually, the break down of fees for different quarters like July-Oct is 18, 600 then Q2 forn Nov-Dec is 2, 500, Q3 Jan-Mar 3, 500, Q4 Apr-May 3500 becomes quite expensive for some people. But as compared from other colleges, it is quite affordable.
