Loreto College Kolkata Scholarship 2025

The college fees that I have paid was around 1,50,000 in totality. The fees was quite affordable, the fees might be dynamic due to development purposes, in whichbthe quarterly fees might differe. As it is directly affiliated under Calcutta University, the fees is quite affordable

Loreto College is one of the top liberal arts college in Kolkata. The campus is huge and teacher faculty is very strong. Well maintained, disciplined and very punctual about timings. Classes happens on regular basis. It has a open library where you can access to the references and other books as well. Any students willing to proceed with humanities, Loreto can be one of the best choice. Can opt for it. Currently I am in my starting semester.

Tuition fees- 900 Semester fees- 15000 Self financing course (if any)- 6000 Practical fees (if any)- 1000 This applies to all semesters However it could vary at times depending upon the changes made by the board.

Admission Fees- Rs 3000 Tuition Fees- Rs 900 Additional Subjects Fees- Rs 4000 Semester Fees- Rs 15000 Scholarships are Government base and all the scholarships are available and the terms and conditions are also according.

When I opted for bachelors in Arts(English) course in Loreto College, the fee structure was according to the subjects you choose for your minor ,IDC ,aec. I chose Journalism mass communication for minor 1 and Economics as my IDC 1 and English as aec 1. I had to pay 22000 (19000 for English honours,2000 for Journalism and 1000 for economics). Then in second year,I had sociology as IDC-2,and journalism as minor 2.So again I had to pay25000 (19000 for English honours,2000 for Journalism and 4000 for sociology idc2).In 3rd sem, I'll be paying 20000 (19000for English honours,1000 for Bengali Aec),in 4th sem it'll be the same ,in 5 nd 6th sem it'll be 19000 and for 7th nd 8th same the fees will be 19000 plus 2 thousand if I opt for research. Tuition fees are included in the basic honours fees of 19000 which is 2000. Everything else like, caution fees, development fees,lab fees all are included in that 19000 . 450 is the registration fees before every sem examination.

Our college offers scholarships such as K2,kanyashree, and so on. The fee structure in our college is according to the subjects chosen. We also have to pay tuition fees which is a thousand bucks. There are certain criteria that the students have to meet in order to qualify for K2. I pay a total of nineteen thousand and five hundred for the course I have taken up.

Tuition fees is pretty much decent in our college no comments on that .The cost per semester varies because per semester we choose different subjects have their practicals , so for that reason subjects keeps on varying . Information were given about scholarships but they did not provide us scholarship name kanyashree. No stipends they provide they want free volunteers .

From other government colleges Loreto's fee structure is really different as it is Semi-private. So obviously the fees rate differ a lot from other, for Semester 1 i had to pay maximum 19,000 which is a lot. There many opportunities of scholarship for students. After sem 1 fees from sem 2 you don't need to pay for the admission money so it reduces a lot of money right there. There are internship program which are compulsory, paid or not.

Tuition fees per semester range from 14,000-17,000, varying from course to course. Courses such as Psychology and Geography have fees for practicals too. Scholarships are available as approved by the Government of West Bengal. Placements are provided by companies like TCS.

The fees is a bit high for the general cast students but it is worth it. Scholarships are provided to the students. B.ed students are given on campus training. Placements are provided for the students
