Eligibility Criteria

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the course leading to the degree of Master of Arts must have passed the examination for the degree of Bachelor of Arts (three year integrated course) of this University or the degree of Bachelor of Arts (Old that is four year course) of this University or a degree of another University recognized as equivalent thereto. Provided,however, that applications of graduates of this University in faculties other than the faculty of Arts, or those who have passed the equivalent examination of another recognized University seeking admission to the M.A. degree course by papers, will have to appear for eligibility test.

Course Details

KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce offers a Master’s in Commerce program at the postgraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to this program is a B.Com. degree from a recognized institute (or university) with 50% marks. Selection of candidates for the M.Com. program is on the basis of merit, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria specified for the program.

An Extract of My Experience at KJ Somaiya for MCOM

Fees and Financial Aid:

Yearly fees is roughly 25K for Master in Commerce and there is no other charges, but there is a charges/penalty if u delay in returning the books u borrowed from the library, penlaty is 2 Rs. per day, and while getting admission u have to pay some admission fees its for admission and it is around 500, but if ur parents income is upto the liimit (upto 2.5L) it will be Exempt. And for females they have scolarship if their household inocomei is upto 3L. and for frmales they have special train ticket price, im not sure if its 100% expempted or just reduced price.
