- Library And Reading Halls: Ruia Library aims to fulfil the information needs of Ruia College. The main collection constituting books is more than 1.25 lac. Along with books, the library also has 6000+ bound volumes of back-issues of noteworthy periodicals, non-print material like CDs & DVDs, and subscription to more than 100 national and international journals. The Library collection is completely computerized and all bibliographic details of books, journals are accessible to the students through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Ruia Library possesses Institutional Membership of Asiatic Library, American Library, and British Council Library. - Sports Academy: Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College has a strongly nurtured sports academy. The Gymkhana consist of a badminton court, boxing ring, highly sophisticated exercising equipment and a shooting range of international standard. The academy aims at training the youth, with all the possible sophisticated sports facilities. The academy conducts various sports events and encourages the students to participate in the events. They organize State/ National and International sports competitions.
- Language Laboratory: In the year 2014-15, a fully functional and well-equipped Language lab was established in the Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College. It consists of 1 teacher console Computer, 10 student console computers, and 10 headphones (with mic). There are 2 language learning software, tOrell and iLotus, used by the college to teach basic language skills like listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Advanced Instrumentation Centre: Dr. P. S. Ramanathan Advanced Instrumentation Centre (PSRAIC) was established in the year 2011 and is equipped with sophisticated analytical instruments. It provides hands-on training to students and staff and supports research activities. It is the brainchild of Late Dr. P. S. Ramanathan, a distinguished analytical chemist and director – Corporate Analytical Operations, Gharda Chemicals with the support of the Shimadzu (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Gharda Chemicals.
- Self-Vision Centre: A highly praise-worthy component of Ruia’s many student welfare activities is the Self-Vision Center that was set in 1995 to offer the best available facilities to its many visually challenged students, who, year after year, have given an excellent account of themselves in their pursuit of excellence in the academic field. Ruia is successful to bring 60 visually challenged students under its guidance to provide them the advanced study facilities that help them to enhance their knowledge and quality of their performance. So i applied for 4 colleges Jai hind , Ruia , Mithibai and Wilson i got confirmation in every single college but my first priority was ruia which im currently studying in beacuse i ive mentioned earlier that the best part about the college is the events which are managed but luckily their management team teachings staff are also their highest level. So the admission process for my college was pretty simple we have to pass the hsc board exam list in the merit and then fill their online form mumbai university website then their personal website and then wait for their merit list and confirmation letter.

- One of the things i liked about the college is how the faculty is very helpful if you have anything you dont understand, they will try to make sure you understood the concept, every teacher in computer science department atleast is ready to help you
- They have started taking small test after each and every chapter and even though i kinda hate those tests it helps me start studying which i wouldn't have normally so it kinda helps me to stay together with the rest of the class

- The thing i dislike the most is the condition of the toilets in this campus, it reeks of dead rat and you never feel like going into one of these and there are days where you just hold it in

The eligibility is basically you need to have taken Science in your 11th and 12th standard. You first need to register yourself on the Mumbai University website and from there you can choose which colleges to send applications too and fill in all the details related to you and upload all the necessary documents along with caste documents, etc. The application process starts immediately after the 12th board results are released. There is also the facility for on spot admission where if a couple of students leave at the last moment to get into a better college, you can avail of certain seats.

There is no need to take any entrance exam to take admission in Ruia college for bachelors degree. But you have to have good marks for easy entry in the college I had 90.67% in my HSC so I got admission very easily in first merit list.

The application process is very simple . We have to submit the required documents and have to pay the fees . The application process starts after the 12th result. There is no entrance exam for this course. And the cutoff are displayed by the college every year.The exam are moderate level based on the syllabus covered.

The eligibility of the course is you must have completed your 12th standard from any reputed high school college board. The minimum cut off for the same would be around 80 percent. You can find the application form on the ruia college website and the fees for the same is 100 rupees and usually the applications start at around june and end in july. I have not availed any reservation benefits. The frequency of exams is every 3 months and the difficulty level is moderate with any average student passing with adequate amount of studies. One area in which they can improve the admission process is its a chaos at that time and there is no proper reserved area or a room for admissions.

There was an entrance exam and the merit list for people in the open category was separate and people in the reserved category was separate. They barely had a cutoff. We had a really high cut off but even after the admission process they increased the seats and admitted more people.

everything pertaining to college admissions are put up onto college websites but for FY the cutoff is 80+ percent . for psychology major the seats are alloted in Sy which has lmited seats of 30-40 only. the exams are pretty tough but doable with practice and pyq's.
