JMC Selection Criteria

Admission to all the above-mentioned courses (except for B.El.Ed.) is based on merit.
Admission to B.El.Ed. will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam.
The merit will be decided on the basis of the percentage secured in the Best Four subjects in the 10+2 examinations.

Procedure for calculation of ‘Best Four’ subjects percentage for Honours Courses:

Percentage will be calculated on the basis of English and three other academic subjects.
All subjects to be included in the calculation of ‘Best Four’ must have at least a 70% theory component of the exam.
If the subject to be considered does not have a 70% theory component and 30% practical component, then the marks of theory and practical shall be converted to 70% and 30%, respectively on a pro-rata basis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is amazing. There are 3 DSC each semester and 1 VAC 1 SEC AND 1 GE and 1 Practical course The difficulty level is high, therefore there is a need of regular studies. Mathematics and AI go hand in hand so it is very helpful course for those who want to persue their career in AI and Analysis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Maths H because I was interested in Maths. And in future can switch to many related fields like economics, finance, physics, computer science etc. The faculty-student ratio is 20:150 I really loved the teachers of JMC. They really made the concepts clear. Most of them are PHDs from IIT, Jamia Milia Islamia. And, completed their bachelor's and Masters at Delhi University. I have my first semester exams in march. But DU has easy exams than other universities. Due to the new policy, the internal: and external exam ratio is 45:55.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mahematics was always something which i liked a lot and after school when i didnt get into any other engineering college and also didnt want to drop an year , i decided to persue honors in Mathematics itself. The staff at JMC are very well spoken and qualified , mostly with a PHD in the subject . there were different teachers for different disciplines in Mathematics. The batch which came in 2015 was a 70 student batch which was divided into two batches of 35 students each thus maitaining a really healthy student teacher ratio. We had a well-equipped laboratory for some subjects which required certain softwares to work on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Amazing faculty with academicians of repute. Student to teacher ratio is around 1:10 which is great. The qualifications is usually PhD and exams are great. Internal assessments assess you on your understanding of the course material. Professors are very helpful when it comes to internships and talks about future. Several department events hone our overall development

Course Curriculum Overview:

The mathematics and the language faculty are so far the best faculties (as per my personal experience) the teachers are regular in taking their classes and also they inform way before bout when they'll not be taking the classes hence making it much convenient for the students.
