As I am from the commerce background, that's why I opted for bcom hons. This course is really very suitable according to my background that I had previously. This course helps in dealing with the real life problems that we will face in accounting when we will start our corporate lives. The level of difficulty for our exams is medium to high.

I chose Bcom (hons) because I wanted to get into finance but I didn't want to do CA. Our curriculum needs to be updated but still it has relevance to the real world problems. Practical education needs to get more weightage than merely just lectures bcs back to back lectures get boring and tedious and students are not able to grasp as much.

The course Curriculum provides us opportunity to choose our additional subjects which makes the curriculum interesting and relevant to students. Curriculum is mostly theoretical which does not gives us an idea about practical world however under the new education policy and the credit based system , one year of research is introduced into the curriculum recently.

Most of the subjects in Bcom Honours are pretty relevant if you wish to get into accounting and auditing fields. The concepts are really elaborately taught do that it not only helps you in your further studies but also help you in real life. For example filing an ITR, GST etc. However a few additional subjects like digital marketing are just for namesake, nothing practical is really taught in those subjects.
I chose this Course as it's the most esteemed institution and studying such a course is feeling honored in itself. Talking about faculty, the teachers are unbelievably supportive, they make us adapt to college life so freaking quickly. Even in the pandemic, it's been more than a year that the health has been deteriorating but still, those warriors are there to make us learn something positive everyday! It's Delhi University, after all, the exams are great, on time, and moderately difficult to ace.
Teachers are really cool and helpful. There are a lot of courses option that the college provides. The college even provides tutorials if we have any doubts. Timely tests and assignments are given to evaluate the performance of the students.
Jesus and Mary College is one of the reputed colleges of Delhi University so no doubt, the education one gets here is exceptionally great. The course curriculum is uniform throughout the university so all colleges study the same course. I personally feel that the course is a bit redundant, I don't know if it was only for the first year or I might see a detailed version of the course in the future but right now, I think that the course could be little more comprehensive. As of now, I haven't seen any practical learning thing. I didn't have any elective option in my first year.
1) The curriculum is very detailed, you cover areas of accounting like financial accounts, corporate accounting , management accounting2) You study about international business , investing 3) you create projects and presentations on Marketing 4) then you have vast exposure to economics - micro and macro , statistics, money and banking5) The faculty is very dedicated and supportive
Fee structure is very feasible. Fees vary from course to course. Fees is between the range of minimum Rs.6,000 to at the max Rs.18,000. Also there are concessions for students under sport's quota, below poverty line etc. Fees is very less and feasible compared to any other universities in Delhi.
DU fee structure is absolutely affordable and subsidised to a large extent. The annual fee is around 10-15K, varying with the college and the course.
