MERI Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Ans. MERI Delhi gives admission through different entrance exams according to the course. For the programmes offered by GGSIPU, such as the BBA, BCA, and MBA, IPU CET is the common entrance exam. For the PGDM course, the authority considers scores of national-level exams, such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT or in-house exams are also accepted. These exams serve as qualifiers, and students are selected based on score cut-offs, group discussions, and personal interviews conducted by the institute or the affiliating university.

Ans. At MERI Delhi, admissions usually take place in April or May upon declaration of board exam results and announcements of national-level entrance exam dates. The process continues through July and August, according to the university schedule. Candidates applying early stand to benefit from lesser workloads in document verification, greater choices for courses and hostels, and special attention from counsellors. For PGDM or MBA applicants, however, the admission cycle may drag ahead a little, with several test rounds followed by personal interviews.

Ans. Applicants are required to submit certain essential documents, usually including mark sheets and certificates for 10th and 12th standards, graduation degree and transcripts (for PG courses), scorecards for entrance exams that might be used in shortlisting or selection, passport-size photographs, and proof of identity (passport or Aadhar card). Depending on the course or the student's background, one might also need category certificates, domicile, migration certificate, or transfer certificate. Originals shall be shown for verification along with attested photocopies.

Ans. Students from all states and union territories of India are welcome to MERI Delhi. From time to time, international students are admitted as well. The admission procedure is conducted mostly through the internet. Due to this, outstation candidates can initially apply without needing to come to campus. The entire verification process will be done after shortlisting, and then freshers can come in for relocation and start attending classes. MERI has hostel accommodation for outstation students, or they can choose PGs or rental apartments, which are very close to the campus in Janakpuri and Tilak Nagar.
