Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 3 years Full-time Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Political Science) Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- Students passed with 50% in English and 60% in Political Science with an aggregate of 60% in the 10+2 Examination may appear in the Selection Test for Honours in Political Science.
Note
Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the total marks secured in 10+2 Examination Plus marks secured in Logic and Philosophy.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The frequency of exams held is great as we get the opportunity to revise the syllabus before our final semester exams.I heard great things about the course from my seniors which is why U chose this course.

Basically, I choose the BA program in Political Science because this is the first College that provides CBCS for the very first in Assam in the year 2016, which provides all India syllabus as same just like every single College follow in the country. And the faculty is very good as all the teachers have good proficiency in all mediums of instructions and have studied from prominent Universities like Delhi University, JMI, AMU, etc. They also follow the same curriculum just like that of Delhi University. And the institution has two seminar halls where sessions used to go on and many co-curricular activities every year. Exams were partially conducted on the basis of 2 internal assessments and one final exam on semester basis.

Academic wise its good as because this college has good teachers and their teaching style is also good and very friendly, courses are completed on time, other faculty members are also good ( sociology, political science, economics etc)

Curriculum and academic are good, teachers are good not doubt but miss sone few points as they try to eliminate very critical thinking of a students, i like economic department great as they gave students the opportunity to speak and think

As major is in political science I kinda didn't like the faculty to ne honest as lots of bias was there among teacher's which was kinda sad,other than that I liked the philosophy dept a lot,teachers are also good n economic dept is also very good,course completion on Time.

My opinion on the course syllabus is not good. It is not updated and can't properly related with modern education. This is the negative side of our course. Our professors are good educator and motivator. They are the best faculty in my eyes.

Our college has excellent course syllabus. From last three years our college give education to the students Of CBSE. I would like to inform that 1st batch of CBCS course passed out in high performance rate. All faculties of our college is good.
