CKB commerce college, Jorhat (Assam) is one of the premier institutions imparting Commerce education in the north east region situated at the heart of the Jorhat Town. The college was established under the leadership and able guidance of founder principal Madhab Chandra Chakrabarty and promoted by Jorhat Education Society with the vision of producing a good number of able commerce graduates to promote entrepreneurial activities and to shoulder various responsibilities in Trade, Industry and Commerce and also to provide them with the opportunity to build up their professional careers. With the gaining popularity of Commerce Education it is hoped that this college will fulfill the needs and aspirations of the younger generation. The college’s vision is to establish itself as a centre of excellence for ensuring quality in higher education, by shaping the human resource in the right way and thereby contribute towards upliftment of the society and development of nation. The eligibility is that one has to get at least 40% in their 12th and has to be in Commerce stream. The application form, fees, and dates are found in the application prospectus. Also, the college has an official website where these can be found. For people in the reservation, people like SC and ST have no fees needed to be paid and they need to pay 40% less in admission fees. Also, the admission process is totally offline which should become both offline and online.

Management is really good with a very skilled staff in the campus. A very well provided college for any new student to select it for their upbringing future to enlighten with good learning.

The positive thing of the College is that it is solely for commerce students and the campus is moderately maintained and the faculty in this College is one of the best faculty available for a commerce in the Jorhat district.
