Remarks :

Jagannath Barooah College is a prestigious college of Assam and in 2016, this college become autonomous. Our college 2nd oldest college of Assam and Upper Assam's first college. Base of our college's performance NAAC recognize our college as A grade. So that I got admission in J. B. College.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course curriculum is also good. Many valuable knowledge provide by this syllabus. But our course is only exam motive. It is a huge negative point of our course syllabus. According to my experience our guest faculties is the best faculty in the college.

Placement Experience :

I witnessed every year a job fair organise our college where many famous companies comes. They hired the JBian base of their talents and skills. In higher education sector many of passing out students secured seat's in India and Assam's top university's. I. g. Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, J. N. U. Etc.

College Events :

J. B. College not only give importance education but also Co curricular activities. College organise many programs to develop students talentes and skills. J. B. College students Union held a huge fest every year which name is Anirvana. Every students and also outsiders has given opportunities to participate in the fest willingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and books followed here are really relevant if you want to appear for competitive exams. Books from the authors like Rajeev Bhargava, OP Gauba, M. Laxmikant are followed here. I chose this course solely on the syllabus. Just the con is that few of the teachers don't know how to teach.
