I took this course because I could not get CS or IT branch. Our branch has an extremely knowledgeable faculty. Most of the teachers have done Mtech. They have vast experience in Teaching. Exams are conducted twice a semester and consist of mid-semester exams and end-semester exams along with internal exams.
I got the electronics branch and that too in the last cap round. I just wanted to be a part of WCE as it has superb placements. Faculty are supportive, they try their best to ensure students are able to understand what is being taught. The course curriculum is updated with latest industry trends, in some branches it may get delay. Almost every department includes faculty who have pursued their PG or PhD from IITs, NITs or even IISc its a good thing about faculty members. WCE has a decent teaching methodology all classroom consists of digital boards which really makes learning fun, also every lab is well furnished and has a high speed internet connection. Thing which matters is learning, you are surrounded by top 5% students from you state and they are really talented, a lot of learning happens off college timings, its basically when you spend most of your time with your peer group. Student whom you surrounds for those 4 years play crucial role in deciding your destiny.
Total fee is 72000 for OPEN category students. And some scholarship to some particular category students. Mode of payments:- cash /online transactions. No extra fees for securing admission to course. There is fully transparency in the fee-breakdown. You can see the fees required for various fields in the receipt.
The course curriculum is very well developed. Due to being autonomous institute the curriculum is updated according to the prevailing technology. Academic performance of our college is also very good. Faculty members can be better but some are exceptionally good.
Fee structure is quite feasible. Fees right now are around 80k which is normal for engineering and for such quality education. This fee is for open. For other categories fees are less than this. So according to me fees are okay.
Here is a detailed analysis of the aforementioned colleges based on some common aspects
Hope you make a wise choice!
