I was quite fascinated by Mechanical Engineering and so wanted to pursue it. The student-faculty ratio in Walchand College is quite good. The teachers are very qualified to complete their M.Tech or Ph.D. from reputed institutes There are three exams T1 T2 of 20 Marks each and ESE of 60 Marks and exams are strictly conducted on time very efficiently
There is certain transparency in fee-breakdown however there some students who are good in studies cannot afford the fee structure . And also at the time college authorities force students to pay the dues or they will not allow students to attend the exam.
School fee is feasible and not too expensive. College has fee for graduation about 80000-90000 a year. College has fees decided among amanities and college tuition fees. College has fees for postgraduate is high. About 200000 pa. College has also decipline for PhD.
The fee structure is quite economical not too high not low. Considering all the services provided it's feasible. The hostel fees is also very feasible and can be afforded by almost all. The fee structure doesn't include expenses for trip , events and all so the students have to pay it themselves.
My branch is Mechanical engineering. Basically I love the machines so I have taken this course. Mechanical engineering consists of so many tough subjects but when you like to study such thing it'll not bother you further once you started studying. Here the Exam structure is simple, my college is autonomous so it conducts exams indepedantly. For one Semester we two ISE (intermediate semester exam ), one MSE (mid semester exam) and one ESE (end semester exam).
The fee structure varies a lot for different categories. The general categories students have to pay about 80000 while the least fee may be as low as 25000. This fee is for one academic year. The hostel fees are the same for all which is about 16000 for one academic year.
