- Government College of Engineering is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra, and now this college has become an autonomous college from the calendar year 2014-15.
- Almost 70 companies visit every year, and there is a very good chance to be placed in good companies.
Dislikes
- The placement percentage was very low, with only about 25 to 20% of students being selected. Speaking of internships, the college did not provide any by themselves. Even if students were doing internships, no stipend was provided.
- The hostel fee is 7000 per year, and the mess is nearby to the hostel. For the mess, you have to pay 9300 per semester, which means approximately 18500 per year

Then after allotement of CAP rounds you have to visit college which you have alloted in CAP round and by completing Admission Process you get admission. Fees : The fees for General Category : 85000 approximately, OBC : 42000 approximately and for other categories you can visit GCEK website.
