Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology Application Process 2023
For BE programs
Applicants seeking admission through GUJCET can apply online by visiting the GSEB website. New applicants are required to register their candidature before filling the online application form. Candidates can obtain the information brochure and PIN for registration by paying INR 350 at any of the listed “help centers” assigned by the board.
The process of online application post-registration is as follows:
- After filling all the requisite details, the applicant will then need to upload the scanned copies of photograph and signature in the specified format.
- The candidate must obtain a DD of INR 300 in favor of "Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell” payable at Gandhinagar.
- Upon submission of application form, a unique application number will be created for each applicant which he/she will need to preserve for future correspondence.
- A print-out of the complete application form and self-attested photo copies of the required documents must be submitted at nearby help Centre
- The requisite acknowledgement slip after submission of registration form is to be collected from the Help Centre.
- Candidates who qualify GUJCET will need to attend counselling for further admission process
Note: For M. Tech admission, candidates can apply through the Commissionerate of Technical Education, Gujarat website. The registration fee for M. Tech candidates is INR 1000.

- Sports faculty is experienced and good and also the support from the college is also good.computer labs are good and the systems are also latest.

- Campus is a bit small and sports infrastructure is not much good.

Admission process was simple and i applied through gujcet and the cutoff was 10000 for Information Technology and Around 6000 for Computer Engineering. During the tour of the college they also provide you full tour of the college.

- I like the college because it is situated on the banks of mahi river and the campus is in outskirts of the town
- The reason why I chose this college is that svit has the best faculties with much experience than other colleges faculties , you can ask the doubt anytime

- Sometimes you may face difficulties in the rainy season to reach the college
Admission:
You must pass class 12th with good marks around 60% or above. Here in svit , there is State quota, management quota and vacant quota . For state quota , you must score good marks in entrance exams like jee and gujcet . Sometimes in the information technology and computer engineering, management quota is chargeable, so in order to confirm your seat , you should contact the college in advance

- Facilities are very helpful to the students as well as the senior are also kind and they know there responsibility towards their juniors.
- Placement are quiet average and the practical knowledge providing is good
Dislikes
- There is no hostels for the students of far city or from different states
- There is no good sports room in the cllg neither gym are useful
Admission:
You can easily get admission in this college there is not that much compitition in this college. There are even some benifits for the reservation available students like ST, SC, OBC. 2hr 30 mins are given for the external exams

- The campus is huge and not at all suffocating. the classes are air-conditioned and facility of computer labs are also available here.
- The faculty are very supportive and qualified. they are always keen to help you if you respect them properly.
Dislikes
- The curriculum is very hectic cause there are continues exams and submissions and vivas and teaching.
Admission:
the admission process is handeled by the ACPC (admission commission for professional courses) and it just start after one or two months of 12th result and you have to file your choice collages and when the results are announced you would know that you got the seat or not. the choice filling is in ascending order from most to the least.
Likes
- First of all I liked the college infrastructure and facilities such as Big Ground, Huge Parking Space, 2 Storey Canteen, Big Library as well as a Big Sportsroom.
- The College Fest and the Sports Week are just awesome here. I thoroughly enjoyed a lot during those days. It was one of the best experiences i have ever had.
Dislikes
- I dont think so there are any things worth disliking here.
Admission:
I got my admission here via ACPC. My rank was around 11500 in 2023. That was a tough year for 12th Science students. I wanted to get admitted here, but looking at my rank I was somehow demoralized. But I got admission here at last.
Likes
- Teaching is pretty well here which is the greatest thing.
- You can live social life and college life here
Dislikes
- College is inside the vasad thus there is about 2km of walking or opt for rickshaw
- You cant bunk classes as there is nothing to do

The admission process of SVIT was of 2 types one based on ACPC, the last general rank-5630, and Management where anybody who passed 12th can apply, and get Admission. For the ACPC seat, you need to take the GUJCET exam

- I firstly like the campus of the college.There is fully air conditioning class and main thing for computer engineer is lab so labs are also air conditioning and each lab has newly updated version of computers.
- I secondly like the canteen. It is of two floor and it has great infrastructure and we can click nice pics there.
Dislikes
- The first thing i dislike is the attitude of auto's driver. As i lived in girls hostel which is almost 2km away from college so the auto driver didn't convince to go to the hostel as they have to drop bus depo students also.
- The first and second semester's some subject i don't liked because they are not relevant to computer engineering.
Admission:
I got admission through ACPC. We have to submit our documents on a particular date on the website and go to our college for further process. we have to get above 60% in our 12th class to be admitted to our college.
