Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influence my decision to choose this course is that I got intrest in aircraft and aviation industry that's creates well the curriculum for real world application and further academic pursuits

Fees and Financial Aid

My yearly fees in 45000 approximately and I haven't applied for any scholarship one of my friend is having scholarship by 80% college is having good culture and facilities as per the tution fees. facilities like canteen library and reading hall are good enough

Campus Life

The name of the annual and technical festival in my college is prakash 2024 . The range and accessibility of books and journals available in library are good enough there is some quit shortage of books

Admission

The other colleges did I apply to and got confirm admission is from Parul university but I am interested in Parul university because the college is too far from my recidency and I have got no good response from the Parul university students

Faculty

The facilities to students relationship and approach the faculties are better than other colleges my favorite faculty is professor Mitesh Patel he is very polite and friendly to the students and teaches very well

Night Life

There is no gym present in the college, need to be added for students fitness and health, college campus is good and timings is also good, near our college there is a river point which is very beautiful nature

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester students are eligible for placement. Infosys, tcs, micron, etc visited our college. Infosys offered 10 lpa, tcs offered 7lpa, micron offered 12 lpa. Highest package is 15 lpa, while the avg package is 10 lpa. 80% students are getting placed. I want to pursue M.tech

Honesty is the best policy

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement, but the nice facality of this college is they conduct mock interview session to test students skills and based on marking they provide guidance. Students are eligible for placement who have more than 6.5 CGPA. In this campus you will find many companies with nice packages, during my time there was min 2LPA and max was around 6-7 LPA and profiles is depends on companies. If the student have proper knowledge on field they definitely get placement.

The teachers of our college are well qualified as most of them are PhD holders from IITs. So, you can expect good teaching quality. Our university follows the same course curriculum as IIT Roorkee. It makes students industry-ready, but since there has been an economic recession, now job opportunities are less.The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not up to our expectations. This might be because of the online medium of learning. The classes are not very engaging. The course curriculum is relevant. It includes a lot of subjects which are practical in daily life.

I choose IT because I was interested in it. The teaching method was really good. Every faculty member tried to give the best resources and explanations. they were always available to solve our queries and doubts. there was a mid sem and a final semester exam. The exams tested the basic knowledge of the particular subject.

Current Details of SVIT

Honestly I targeted SVIT, because it was near by vadodara, easy to travel and timings were also good enough to get adpoted with. The fews structure and environment their is much better than other colleges. The admission process is through ACPC, vacant quota, management quota and SC/ST quota. I got admission through vacant quota after 2nd round of ACPC. The cutoff for ACPC in Computer Engineering at my admission time was 5000. And for vacanct quota it was extended to 9000 after 3rd round of ACPC . The admission process was smooth. Also every year, mock GUJCET is taken in college and top scorer gets waiver on fees ....Read More

The SVIT journey

I applied in PDPU(PDEU) and Lj university ahmedabad. I chose this college because 1) It is one of the best and renowned college inour region 2)The feels is comparatively too less.Yes my application in Nirma University(ahm) got rejected because i couldn't clear the cutoff of CSE of that college.The admission process in SVIT is simple you if youre alloted seat through ACPC or you need to visit the campus for management quota.The exams required here are 12th PCM and GUJCET or JEE.The exam most preferred here is GUJCET as it is simpler than JEE the cutoff of SVIT for CE was 7000 rank (GUJCET) this year....Read More
