So VLSI design in bachelors is a very new course and does not much universities in India that provide this course, we are mentored by mtech faculty who have great knowledge in this field of research colleges affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam University Trivandrum most of the teachers ask us to focus on the technical side rather than the theoretical side in order to developer skills and we have help from the seniors and other passed out students

I have opted Electronics and communication engineering branch. The branch I opted gives me a variety of company offers at placement time if a decent cgpa score is presented. The electronic or hardware sector is growing day by day and discoveries are encouraged by employers with a great package deal.

My first choice was to go for computer science but since you've to have a second opinion I chose electronics..and after I've looked into it..it is also branch that provides you a future job the curriculum provides many real life experiences and there are many internships, hackathon, etc to increase your skill in the particular subject or any other subject I wouldn't suggest any changes in the teaching methods but regarding curriculum it would be better if they used modern tools in every aspects The timing of exams are hard during the odd semester since they are short and doesn't give much time to study.

I am currently studying in a newly introduced branch Electronics engineering specified in VLSI design and technology. This is a demanding field and companies are developing the semiconductor field and would help me in the aspect of placement if a decent cgpa score is displayed.

The course curriculum is highly relevant to current standards and comprehensive in covering key skills and concepts. Equal priority is given to both Practical and theoretical knowledge. The series exams will be conducted two times in a semester and main exam is conducted by ktu. The exams aren't that tough mostly repeated questions and pyq's.

I am a first year student. And first year syllabus mostly seems a bit unnecessary. Physics and chemistry isn't really necessary for engineering in my opinion. They should try to add more engineering bacis.

They ensure the courses are align with the industrial applications and trends. This alignment helps students to acquire the skills and knowledge that employers seek during placements, making the students more competitive in the market. The internal exams are conducted in a timely manner which doesn't give the students much pressure.
