The curriculum gets updated every 2-4 years depending on the branch and every course is accredited. The curriculum is designed with inputs from researchers, industry personnel, and other key stakeholders hence the curriculum is very relevant. The curriculum could however focus more on showing where the topics are used in the real world at the start of the course rather than the end of the course The exams are well distributed throughout the semester giving students a chance to focus both on academics as well as their projects and personal life

Course curriculum is well planned and focus on overall learning of a student . I choose Mechatronics as it deals with technology 4.0 which will be on a boom in near future . Faculty is good and quite friendly. Usually every teacher teaches from a ppt except for few . Term exams are held in December for odd sems and in may for even sems . They are well set papers and is quite tough to score good marks .

i chose this course becaus i found it very interesting the faculty to student ratio is okay one teacher teaches a class of 100 students the teaching method is interactive and involves self learning topics the exams could have longer breaks and were hard to pass

The course I've chosen is mechatronics which I chose due to an interest in robotics. The faculty:student ratio is 1:6 which is very good and every 25 roll numbers have a teacher guardian per class. There are 2 exams- midterms and end Sems

The course curriculum and faculty is decent. Some teachers are average but some are really good and passionate about their subject. The course and syllabus is well structured and helps me to understand basics of engineering very well

The curriculum is very advanced. The faculty members are also good but a bit old they are it's okay! The teaching of few faculties up to the mark so it is easy for the students to understand and grasp the knowledge! They mostly provide practical knowledge also. So that is very much useful in our future. When we apply for jobs and stuff. So overall I rate like very good for teaching and explanation of the faculty.

The Course Curriculum for the First year is COMMON to all irrespective of their branch. Since the Second year the Main Curriculum commences. The Reason for me choosing mechatronics is solely because of my Interest in Robotics. Mechatronics is a fairly new branch in india and it will take for companies to get to know that such a branch exists. While abroad this is a fairly exposed branch with Six Figures as their Opening. The curriculum for Mechatronics is Very well updated to the industry standards and makes you fall in love with what you're doing. There are around 80 - 100 Students in a class while there is one teacher. Even if the number seems to be a lot it is not. Teachers know the students well. The faculty in Manipal are well qualified and have a deep understanding in their subject. Many or i should say Most of the teachers here have multiple research papers to their name. There are Midsems and Endsems with some assignments and quizzes throughtout the sem. They are easy to Pass!

I have an interest in mechatronics it is robotics and the faculty at MIT is very good they teach very well, here they teach through PPT but not all of it depends on the teacher here we have to write exams through epad not by pen and paper
Mechatronics was an interesting course and an upcoming field. There are around 60 students being taught by 1 teacher. The faculty was good and the exams were according to an average student. If the exam is tough, then faculty does lenient marking so its not difficult to pass
