Likes

The campus life is awesome. You can meet people of various ethnicities.
The faculty member are very supportive and also guide you how you can improve l and get good grades.

Dislikes

The college campus is very small like you can literally get jealous from other college students.
The college fees is also very high compared to the infrastructure of other IP Universities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to opt for B.Tech Computer Science because from my perspective it is superior. I can get a job in different fields also after graduation. The exams were taken after every 2 months in a particular semester and also there were finals exams at the end of the semester.

Although the college is only 6 acres but it is well maintained
You can find various benefits in the college by joining different clubs

Dislikes

College is not big so you can't explore In the college
There are no air conditioners in classrooms so It feels really hot in summers

Well, I had not seen much about this college while taking admission because I only wanted to do electronics engineering because I was interested in it. If we talk about exams then their level is easy to moderate.

Clubs and societies are active; exciting events take place often.
Students are interactive and friendly; peer groups help each other. They are quite collaborative.

Dislikes

The size of campus is not that large as it looks. Playgrounds and games are located far from college campus
Only some rooms have AC's, which cause problem for students during summer

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cirriculum is not that much outdated. It makes our basics about the core topics strong & crystal clear . Hence we became capable of learning any new programming lanuage or technology arising in the job market. I believe the evaluation of exams of subjects like programming languages shouls be more practical or project based rather than pen-paper test based. This will encourage students to learn the practical coding skills rathe rthan memorizing things. Exam used to frequently in a semester. We give exams after 5-6th week.

I like liked the fact the people there are very sweet and friendly and some of the teachers are really friendly and helpful

Dislikes

The infrastructure is really bad. They have made a basketball court but there are no nets or ring in that just 2 poles.
There are no proper clubs that are actually engaging and would give you a fair chance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being in first year I think that some of the things they are teaching right now are pretty useless. The practicality of the subjects is not there. Student are studying for the sake of passing. There are some subjects that are course related and interactive but rest of them I don't think so that we will have any use of it. Instead of doing things project based and improving our resume we are stuck studying for thing that will probably not benefit us in the future

College is located in Rajouri garden and well connected with both metro and bus. PG and flat facilities are also available nearby in decent price. It offers BTech in CS , IT , ECE etc
All the labs are available in college for practical and well maintained so students get full exposure to practical things, placement is also decent and college provides full assistant in placement

Dislikes

The campus is small as compared to other colleges and sports ground is also not available
As there is reservation for Sikh students in this college so there is lack of diversity as you will find 90% Sikh student in this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is affiliated to GGSIPU which is a state university so it follows the syllabus approved by the university, however the syllabus is old as it's there in almost all the colleges of India, it should be modified as per industry standards and should include more of practical things then theory , Semester end exams are conducted by University for which you have to go to different colleges and mid sem exams are conducted for college itself. Regarding practical exams , both mid sem and end sem are conducted in college itself but in end sem external comes and he/she takes viva

Honest Review about GTBIT from a 2021 batch student

Likes

No pressure on the students regarding any file work or practicals. No overdozen work is given.
Supportive staff is there for placement perspective . Fees is also not much higher as compared to other private colleges.

Dislikes

One of the things i dislike in our college is there is no playground.
No on campus internship opportunities are there. Though faculties shares the opportunities with the students through whatsapp and gmail.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision for choosing btech as my career was because of the high paying jobs just after the 4 year course. Though some of the subjects taught in our course is not much related to tech industry or are much outdated . With the growing industry and new technologies , students have to work on their skills after the college to get a good job.

Nature of the faculty member, they are so helpful and always try to solve the query rather than telling us to find our own way.
No hard attendance rule, they understand and allow the student in the 3 year for full time internship in various firms

Dislikes

Not like the old curriculum, as there are some subjects in the 1 year which are not useful as in tech related fields
Not space for parking of student vehicle inside the campus arear due to the shortage of space

I think the course is relevant in most of the industry related things like we have subjects of microprocessor, oops, language specific, technologoly related and also the project based learning help me alot such has minor project in which my team work on web development and we build a fully functional website and learn the standard of industry and all other things which college provide help me to ready for placementrer

One thing that I really like about my college is its leniency towards late fee submissions
Another thing that I find commendable about the college is not forcing the students to maintain a certain level of attendance

Dislikes

The lack of employment opportunities for Non CS/IT students

I would rate the course curriculum of ECE as quite comprehensive but a bit more focused on theoretical aspects which is good but it would be better to incorporate more practical applications and real-world projects to better prepare students for industry demands...

College campus is small and also there is no ground.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not up to date according to me.in first year you have subject like mechanics, electrical science that is of no use in computer science branch Talking about exams ,the difficulty level is not much they are easy to moderate.you can start study for sessional 1 week before and still score good marks. Some subjects are helpful for your real world applications.

The social life at the gtbit is very good everyone is helpful to each other
The sports are yeah this is very small but fun with friends

Dislikes

No cricket ground no proper sports equipments
No proper updated computers and no free internet for students

Average only as it is not a very big college no as Such proper labs and sports facilities but with students are great and helpful to each other. Even some teachers are also very nice they provide you with material and guidance and are easy to approach for help
