- One thing that I really like about my college is its leniency towards late fee submissions
- Another thing that I find commendable about the college is not forcing the students to maintain a certain level of attendance

- The lack of employment opportunities for Non CS/IT students
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would rate the course curriculum of ECE as quite comprehensive but a bit more focused on theoretical aspects which is good but it would be better to incorporate more practical applications and real-world projects to better prepare students for industry demands...
Internships Opportunities :
It offers various internships or training programs for the students like it did last year when it provided AWS cloud training in collaboration with ICT academy to the students... Even this year they're organizing a 3 month long Cybersecurity training program, although for female students, which is said to be provided by TCS in collaboration with Microsoft...
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for the entire course that I opted at GTBIT including tuition fees and all other expenses, amounts to Rs 4,72,500... Additionally, the college may provide financial assistance or aid to students facing financial restraints..This support can include fee waivers or installment payment options as well which even I took benefit of during my second year...One commendable aspect of our institute though is its leniency towards late fee submissions... Unlike some other colleges, it does not indundate the students with unwarranted notices pressurizing them to clear their dues straightaway which is a good thing... And talking about the placement opportunities, I would honestly say that they are decent for CS or IT students but not so much in case of Non IT/CS...
Campus Life :
The campus is moderate in size and while the infrastructure is adequate, it can be described as decent...While it may not boast extravagant facilities, it provides essential amenities necessary for academic pursuits...Talking about club involvement, the institute offers a diverse range of clubs and societies catering to various interests, such as IEEE providing platforms for students to engage in technical discussions, workshops and projects.. Additionally, there are other student clubs as well like the Drama Society of our college called ET-CETERA which provides opportunities for artistic expression...
Admission :
So, I was allocated a seat in Bachelor Of Technology program at GTBIT in the third round of standard IPU counselling specializing in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Pursuing Btech at GTBIT requires meeting standard eligibility criteria including achieving a minimum of 70% in the 12th standard and obtaining competitive marks in the JEE entrance exam especially if you're seeking for admission in IT and CSE. Talking about the admission process, it was quite standard involving document verification and procedures typical of any college admission. I would say that it felt a bit hectic on the given day perhaps because of the rush to get things done quickly. You can find the application form and all other info on the college website. Our college also provides reservation benefits for sikh minority students in case you're wondering. Mid term exams occur after two months going into the semester and the difficulty level is moderate.
