The curriculum mainly focussed on the past technological. But lately, artificial intelligence is also included in the curriculum. The curriculum should extend the duration between exams. The exams are conducted at a rapid speed.

The course and curriculum has to be improved. The curriculum is still outdated in case of some subjects. The curriculum is still focused on past rather than on future. The exams are conducted with less gaps betwen them which provide less time for students to prepare

According to my opinion we can't study every parts of engineering in a 4 year BTech degree. We get a whole concept of engineering. And the study of engineering never ends it is according to our job area.If we go for a job in designing field we must study more about that field and if we go for manufacturing area then we must study more about that field. So we can't acquire everything from a college but from this college we can acquire a perfect view of how to approach job opportunities and how to make them easy . After the corona period the exam frequencies have changed alot We don't get time to Study perfectly for the exam I hope it'll be normal after some times

I think the duration for each semester is very short and is tiring. Students may not be able to cope up with the pace of this curriculum. I think each semester should atleast last for a period of 5 or 6 months. Extra curricular activities should also be promoted

As per me personally, i am interested in aerospace engineering. But there are no government colleges via keam entrance where aeronautical engineering is present. So i chose mechanical engineering which was my next option. I am interested in studying about mechanisms inside the machines, vehicles etc. Im really interested in space technologies also. Thermodynamics, fluid machinery, mechanics, solids are all seemed interesting for me rather than civil or electrical subjects. I also am interested in the manufacturing of missiles, and machines there in defense field. So overall mechanical engineering seemed approachable for me. Coming to my college ,the mechanical faculties here are really supportive. They are always ready to provide information regarding our doubts. Recently they even conducted a session with well known scientists who have worked in VSSC. It was an interactive session where students were able to clear there doubts regarding aerospace fields. Mechanical faculty is the best.

The curriculum that I'm currently studying is 2019 scheme under KTU. During the school time itself I had an interest in the technological areas so I chosen the engineering degree to chase my dreams. For that I had chosen the best college in the areas of IT as Government Engineering College Barton Hill. It's a centre of higher learning platform that nurtures inquisitive young minds, fosters their innovative research and enhelps to reach out the society by moulding the professionalism inside us. They helps us to collaborate with Industry and enhances academic areas as well. In academic basis each semester is 6 month duration with one main university exam and 2 series exam each. Marks are also taken under consideration for assignments, tutorials, projects etc. They also provide us with Industrial visit in near by companies, ensures talkative sections with professionals and also internship opportunities.

This course offers me a chance to attain professionalism. It has tutorial hours and placement training to attain jobs. Syllabus need to be a bit more focues rather than all over the place. The exams are timed almost right with breathable difficulty.

I chose this course to be a part in technical field. I know technology is one of the fast growing field. So I took Information Technology as my btech course. Professors should try to consider below average students also.

The curriculum involves all main domains in IT like Development , security , ML&AI etc. Most of the curriculum supports both placement level as well as higher studies based. Frequency of examination quite less and difficulty is moderate.
