Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission into this course should have passed 2nd PUC/ 12th / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics/ Computers. (40% for Karnataka reserved category candidates).
Entrance Exam:
CET/COMED-K/JEE/AIEEE
For Diploma Holders
Diploma Holders in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination, conducted by the Board of Technical Examination, Government of Karnataka or its equivalent, are eligible for admission to the corresponding branch of Second Year engineering. Candidates must take the Common Entrance Test (DCET) for Diploma students conducted by the CET Cell, Govt. of Karnataka. Seats will be allotted during the centralized counseling process conducted by the CET Cell.
For NRI & Foreign students
Admission to undergraduate programmes in engineering shall be open to NRI / Foreign candidates who have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination recognized by AIU with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Electronics / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study. Students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in PCM.

I have enrolled in the department of Mechanical engineering because of the reputation of the faculty and the facilities they provide. Talking about the faculty, most of the professors are young and experienced in their field of subject and knowledge, looking into the quality of education, it is very high and most of the professors are well trained in using new methods of teaching. Regarding conducting examinations , they are conducted in a very efficient manner.

I wouldn't say it was pretty easy, but the faculty is great that teaches us the subjects really well, hence eat to pass. The tests used to happen every 3-4 weeks and we had about 3 internal assessment tests.

Faculty in my college not only aims for high quality teaching but also helps students in keeping positive attitude towards education. Faculty in our college also motivates students by sharing their experience of working with reputed organisations and telling students about the demand of this developing tech era. Faculty mentors students and helps them to pass examination by giving them tips to score high and study smart in particular exam. Feedback system is built for students suggestion for improvement of faculty .Faculty also directs students in research field and also urges students to take part in extra co curricular activities.

I CHOSE MECHANICAL STREAM BECAUSE I AM INTO AUTOMOBILES AND WOULD REALLY LOVE TO UNDERSTAND AND LEARN HOW THINGS WORK. THE COURSE IS QUITE GOOD, THE FACULTY ARE WELL QUALIFIED AND ARE EXCEPTIONAL IN THEIR SUBJECTS WHICH IS A PLUS POINT AS THEY BREAKDOWN THE SUBJECTS TO AN UNDERSTANDABLE LEVEL. THE FACULTY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AT THE SAME TIME STRICT WHEN THEY SHOULD BE.

Fee is expensive. And fee collection is also very strict always remember fee due every time management seat fee is very high compared to government seat management seat fee is around 5lac government seat around 1lac depending upon braches. Fee collecting like bomb blasting

Syllabus and curriculum is affiliated under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and it is not updated one. Faculties are really good and supportive. Our class had industrial visits often, i.e, once in every semester.

Fee Structure is very expensive for middle class and low class family compare other colleges it's around 2lac for government seat and management seat is around 6lac it's so costly. And fee collecting process also very strict and standard, it's always remembering the students.
