Remarks :
To get into CMRIT was pretty much an easy task, after all they took my CET and PUC Mark's in regard for the admission , the admission went very smooth and there were no hurdles or errors during the process .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have enrolled in the department of Mechanical engineering because of the reputation of the faculty and the facilities they provide. Talking about the faculty, most of the professors are young and experienced in their field of subject and knowledge, looking into the quality of education, it is very high and most of the professors are well trained in using new methods of teaching. Regarding conducting examinations , they are conducted in a very efficient manner.
Internships Opportunities :
As for the internships, I haven't applied for any as for now !!! But CMRIT provides a very good opportunity for internships, also in the research field , a department known as COE - Center of Excellence, which consists of various topics in research and you are given an opportunity to choose any 1 or more topics in your interest and work on those area of research and build your expertise and you are given a certificate at the end of your course,which adds on to your resume and gives more value . CMRIT has a mandate that, once your are enrolled, form the 1by year you are obliged to do mini projects, so as to build your skills and interest in projects ,which helps you to do a major project at the end of your course and also to give you an expression of failures and success as in the real world. CMRIT has a cell Specially made for students which provides all the facilities to work on your project from basic tools to 3D printers , laser cutters etc. Overall students enjoy doing projects.
Placement Experience :
Placements in CMIT is one of the best parts, because the university itself has a department for placement and the faculty in the department are very well versed in the process of getting jobs in various industries and companies, the department has made a circulum known as "TYL" ( Tie your Laces) a program which was added from the 1st year you enroll till you finish your course, the program was designed to train you ,so that during placement it's very easy for you and you dont get nervous and the program makes you confident in taking part in the interview. The results for getting placed in your choice of company or industry will be high just because the program set by the department gives you a quality knowledge and training. The highest package in our college was 24 lakhs per annum.Talking about the companies and industry which look out for our college, many big companies have kept an eye on our college which gives a bigger opportunity for students to get placed .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Talking about fees structure, since I have enrolled through CET ,it was pretty much under 1 lakh per year, I do not know much about the management fees, to guess it would mostly be under 3 lakhs. To know more about the fees I would suggest yo contact the university. I haven't enrolled in scholarships , but I do know that our college provides a very good scholarship opportunity and financial assistance.
Campus Life :
CMRIT gives you a very good chance to experience their fests , the biggest fest which happens every even sem in a year which is known as "CULTURA" and their inter college fest which happens every odd sem in a year known as " AURA". Talking about clubs, they are many kinds of clubs mostly divided in two types , cultural clubs and departmental clubs. CMRIT gives you a good opportunity to take part in the variety of clubs present. I am a part of core departmental club , I have been given a good opportunity to lead the club and its been fun and very exciting since then . CMRIT is very well endorsed in the social media and is very outgoing in reaching the student community, we have our own student council which is in good touch with the students of our university!! Talking about sports ,our college has won national , state and inter college level competitions, you get a good opportunity in the various sports they provide.
