The curriculum expects the students to pursue a 1 year period of compulsory internship in the college and hospitals they studied. We sign that bond during admission into college. Failing which degree will not be granted by the university. It's is critically essential to gain real world experience and practice so that we become good doctors and trained professionals that can help and provide service in times of emergency. The duration of internship varies from universities. The private and deemed universities have their own period of internship.

This is a medical college. So unlike other courses, there will not be campus interviews or placements. As we finish our jobs, we are free to practice on our own or we can study further in our field of interest to become a postgraduate.
Doctors don't have to worry about placements. They are bound to get a job in a hospital after they complete their MBBS or MD or MS. All medical colleges have a compulsory internship of one year. The stipend of the internship for a month is 20k
