Course Curriculum Overview :

My AIM is to become a Doctor. So I choose MBBS and joined this prestigious college to pursue my Course. Each Batch consists of 250 Students where 85% from State Counseling and 15% from All India Counseling. The Faculty is well qualified and Experienced. All Professors, AP, PGs are well-qualified. The Teaching method is so nice that every topic is easily understandable. They Teach both in English and Tamil so that every student both From the State Board and other boards can understand the topic clearly.The Exams are conducted Annually. If you join the college in August 2018 First-year Exams will be in August 2019, 2nd-year exam in Feb 2021 and Prefinal in Feb 2022, and the Final year in Feb 2023 Exams are a bit difficult because it is a professional course

Hostel Facilities :

The Hostel Is now renovated and It is spacious. The Food here is so tasty and the menu here is so good which provides all nutrients. Every day there'll Nonveg and Veg to choose from Hostellers are to be paid monthly for Mess Bills and Room Rents. Which combined comes around 3-4k per month on average,Each room has 3 members and The Water, Current facilities are continuous.Rooms are With 3 Tubelight and 2 Fans. They'll privy you a Cot, Table and A Chair

The faculty are approachable and friendly. All faculty are government doctors working in the hospital with qualifications of MD and DM. The teaching is very good in the postings, and in classes, they will be teaching through PPT. We will have exams once per year, they are University exams.. and easy to pass if you study well.

Remarks:

The medical college and hospital is at Mundiyampakkam village, Villupuram District. Being located at a village, the medical college focuses on maintaining good health of rural people. There are 1100 beds which are used by patients. 650 beds are used for teaching and 450 beds are used for other medical purposes. Being close to nature, the college is surrounded by greenery. One can get fresh air and healthy environment easily. However, the city is a little bit far away.
