What students say about Georgian College

Likes

  • The curriculum is really good in this college, and the teachers are also very friendly.
  • Most of the programs in this college require some form of work experience or a co-op.
  • The placement process, if I talk about my program, is excellent as every year they launch an event where hundreds of employers come from all over Canada.
  • Currently, there is a pandemic, so I havent experienced any campus life or infrastructure yet.
  • But many domestic students choose to stay in on-campus housing and love it because it is cleaner and more structured.
  • At the end of the day, many students apply for these scholarships so that they can receive the best one.
  • The online team also tries their best to reply to all of our queries and provides a nice explanation.
  • I would rate my experience 9.5/10. It was a really good experience: very good education, very good faculty, a very nice city, very friendly staff, good placements, good opportunities, and good extracurricular activities.

Overview:

Georgian college, actually college is the best college in Canada but the place where the college situated is damn cool. Barrie, is very small town so they don't have many groceries stores nearby our houses. Accommodation is very expensive there but if you are lucky you can find sharing accommodation not more than $350 (you need to do very hard work for it in finding). But the main problem is part time job. As barrie is very small town they don't have many part time job opportunities for international students. But, overall college is doing excellent work from there side, they have many facilities like gym and athletic centre, library, extra learning centre, availability of all programs you want and etc. Studies are very easy in Georgian college compare to other Ontario colleges. They have very simple concept of choosing your timetable, adding your class and do your assignment on time. These are the simple aspects to get success in your program from Georgian college. I strongly recommend everyone to come Georgian college and have a amazing experience of learning. You can find job and cheap accommodation if work hard to find it will take some time but you definitely get both of them.
