- Its a good experience; however, during my time, there was no internship support. But when I graduated, they introduced internship support. Moreover, it depends on students interest to get industrial exposure.
- My college offers a co-op program in which, as a student, you can apply if you meet the criteria.
- The university states that 90% of students enrolled in the co-op program are offered a placement, which is an excellent rate.
- The University of Ottawa also has an online library that helps access most of the books online.
- There are plenty of university accommodations available, including food facilities, but on the quite higher side of expenses.
- The faculty-to-student ratio is also perfect, and you can ask them as many questions as you like.
- Ottawa is the capital city, where Parliament is located. It was indeed a good idea to study politics and make connections in the heart of where it all happens.

I chose the University of Ottawa's Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in accounting because of the amazing Co-op program they have and I loved the feel of the university and its location. I learned about the school at the Ontario University Fair and then toured it and it totally lived up to my expectations. I only applied to two universities and got into uOttawa a week after I applied with a pretty large scholarship.
Fees:
The fee structure is good, students receiving OSAP get an extended deadline to pay. There are a few fees you can opt out of. There are numerous internal scholarships available that students can apply for as well as numerous scholarships awarded to students without the need to apply for them. The university also offers a merit scholarship

I opted for this specific college because it was close to home which means that I was able to still live at home while I attended classes instead of staying in residence. I also chose this school because it seemed like the only way I can still take french classes and keep in touch with my second language

international students pay more in tuition and for this reason, there are a lot of opportunities for students to win scholarships, there are also some funding grants they can receive as well as long as they keep doing well in their classes but the grants apply to all students and not just international ones

The school is known as one of the best research institutes and I received an undergraduate research scholarship. It also offered co-op and had many opportunities with the government. The admissions average for my program was also very low for me as I only needed to maintain a 75% in the sciences while I had the 90s. The other schools I apply to, Guelph and Waterloo were a bit more picky with averages.

The tuition fees were due August 27th and September 27th for students with OSAP. There were numerous scholarships available through the eurozone portal which anyone could apply for however somewhere specific to international students of francophones. For my program, the tuition fees were about $7,500. On average it was the same as other schools for the faculty of science.

I chose this university because of the amazing city of Ottawa. I have always been a fan of small towns but didn't want to lose the downtown hectic feel of Toronto, and Ottawa has a mixture of both! It has a crazy amount of multiculturalism and people there are extremely nice and supportive of minorities.

The tuition of my program is $10k per year, this is based on the domestic tuition. The international tuition can range from $20000 to $35000 per year. I received the entrance scholarship of $1000 based on my high school grades used to apply to the university. I also received a loan from OSAP offered by the government of Ontario of $5000.
